Ejecutado en KFC mando policial en Cosolapa

Córdoba, Ver.- Saúl Ríos Reyes, de 52 años, originario de Zongolica y director de Seguridad Pública del municipio de Cosolapa, Oaxaca, fue ejecutado la noche de este jueves dentro de un restaurante KFC, ubicado en la avenida 11 y calle 10, en pleno centro de Córdoba.

De acuerdo con los primeros reportes, hombres armados ingresaron al establecimiento y dispararon en varias ocasiones contra el funcionario, quien perdió la vida de manera inmediata. Clientes y trabajadores entraron en pánico y buscaron refugiarse durante el ataque.

La zona fue asegurada por corporaciones policiales, mientras peritos de la Fiscalía Regional realizaron el levantamiento de indicios y trasladaron el cuerpo al Servicio Médico Forense.

Hasta el momento no se tiene información sobre los responsables, quienes huyeron tras la agresión, por lo que la autoridad ministerial abrió una carpeta de investigación.

Asalto a tren en Acultzingo deja dos custodios muertos en Coxolitla de Arriba

Acultzingo, Ver.— Dos custodios ferroviarios fueron asesinados durante un intento de asalto a un tren de carga en Coxolitla de Arriba, municipio de Acultzingo, en la zona centro de Veracruz.

Los trabajadores fueron agredidos cuando presuntamente intentaron impedir que un grupo de hombres detuviera el convoy para robar la mercancía.

Las víctimas fueron identificadas como Eliuh “N” y Rodolfo “N”, originarios de Orizaba y Rafael Delgado, respectivamente. Ambos trabajaban para la empresa de seguridad privada General Benignos S.A. de C.V., encargada de vigilar los vagones ferroviarios.

El ataque ocurrió cuando el tren, procedente de Puebla y con destino al puerto de Veracruz, circulaba por el tramo ferroviario entre Orizaba y Acultzingo. Según los reportes del caso, los presuntos asaltantes intentaron frenar la marcha de la unidad, pero se encontraron con la resistencia de los custodios.

Los agresores habrían utilizado piedras, palos y tubos para golpearlos. La intervención de las autoridades se solicitó a través del número de emergencias 911, luego de que personal de Ferrosur alertara sobre lo ocurrido.

Al sitio se movilizaron elementos del Ejército Mexicano, Guardia Nacional, Secretaría de Marina, Policía Estatal y Policía Ministerial, además de paramédicos de la Cruz Roja de Ciudad Mendoza. A su llegada, los cuerpos de emergencia confirmaron que los dos trabajadores ya no tenían signos vitales.

Personal de la Fiscalía Regional con sede en Orizaba y peritos forenses realizaron las diligencias correspondientes y ordenaron el traslado de los cuerpos al Servicio Médico Forense. Las investigaciones buscan esclarecer la agresión e identificar a los responsables.

El caso vuelve a poner atención sobre los robos a trenes en Acultzingo. En mayo de 2026, alrededor de 30 personas intentaron asaltar un tren intermodal en la congregación de Vaquería, también en este municipio.

A nivel nacional, los registros de la autoridad ferroviaria reportaron 2 mil 005 robos en el sistema ferroviario durante el primer semestre de 2025, frente a 2 mil 293 en el mismo periodo de 2024. De los casos registrados en 2025, mil 832 correspondieron a robos a trenes.

El doble homicidio se suma a los hechos de inseguridad que afectan el transporte ferroviario y deja a dos trabajadores muertos mientras cumplían labores de vigilancia en las vías de Veracruz.

Muere jornalero atropellado cuando caminaba a trabajar en Paso del Macho

Paso del Macho, Ver.— Un jornalero de aproximadamente 45 años murió la mañana de este domingo, luego de ser atropellado por un vehículo cuyo conductor escapó del lugar, sobre la carretera estatal Paso del Macho–Camarón de Tejeda.

La víctima fue identificada como Gerónimo “N”, vecino de la colonia Los Almendros, ubicada cerca del sitio donde ocurrió el accidente.

De acuerdo con los datos recabados, caminaba a la orilla de la carretera con dirección al centro de la ciudad, donde se disponía a comenzar su jornada laboral.

Durante el trayecto, un vehículo lo embistió y lo proyectó fuera de la cinta asfáltica. El conductor continuó su marcha sin detenerse para auxiliarlo, por lo que hasta el momento se desconoce su identidad y las características de la unidad involucrada.

Automovilistas que pasaban por el tramo carretero observaron al hombre tendido entre la maleza y solicitaron apoyo a los servicios de emergencia.

Elementos de la Policía Municipal acudieron al sitio, confirmaron la situación y acordonaron el área para facilitar las diligencias correspondientes.

La circulación fue parcialmente restringida mientras se esperaba la llegada del personal ministerial y de Servicios Periciales de la Fiscalía General del Estado, encargado de realizar las actuaciones legales y el levantamiento del cuerpo.

La autoridad ministerial deberá integrar la carpeta de investigación para esclarecer cómo ocurrió el atropellamiento e identificar al conductor que abandonó el lugar. Hasta el momento, no se ha informado sobre personas detenidas por estos hechos.

Hallan feto en bolsas de basura junto al panteón de Huatusco

Huatusco, Ver.— Un feto fue localizado en bolsas de basura en las inmediaciones del panteón municipal de Huatusco, luego de que trabajadores realizaban labores de limpieza en el lugar.

Los empleados encontraron las bolsas, en cuyo interior había rastros de sangre. Al revisarlas, descubrieron los restos y notificaron a las autoridades.

Elementos de la Policía Municipal acudieron al sitio y, tras confirmar el hallazgo, dieron aviso a la Fiscalía.

Personal ministerial y pericial realizó las diligencias correspondientes y recabó indicios para integrar la investigación.

Los restos fueron trasladados para los estudios correspondientes, mientras la Fiscalía inició una carpeta de investigación para esclarecer los hechos.
