Alertan por posibles heladas y caída de nieve en el Pico de Orizaba

Xalapa, Ver. – Autoridades de Protección Civil alertaron sobre la posibilidad de heladas y caída de nieve o aguanieve en las zonas serranas del Pico de Orizaba y Cofre de Perote, derivado del frente frío que mantiene temperaturas gélidas en las regiones altas del estado.

El pronóstico meteorológico emitido por la Subdirección de Estudios y Pronósticos del gobierno estatal advierte que el ambiente fresco a frío que prevalece en la entidad podría generar condiciones extremas en las comunidades de mayor altitud durante esta noche.

Perote se consolidó como la zona más fría de Veracruz este lunes, con apenas 7.5 grados centígrados y sensación térmica de 7 grados, condición que podría agravarse en las localidades cercanas al volcán.

Las autoridades mantienen activa la Alerta Gris del Sistema Estatal de Protección Civil (SIATVER) y recomiendan a los habitantes de las zonas serranas extremar precauciones, abrigarse adecuadamente y estar atentos a las condiciones climatológicas.

Además del frío extremo, Protección Civil reportó evento de Norte con rachas de viento que alcanzaron 91.5 kilómetros por hora en Laguna Verde y 82.8 km/h en Bahía Sur del puerto de Veracruz.

Para la costa central se pronostican rachas de 85 a 110 km/h, mientras que en la región de Xalapa, Naolinco, Misantla y el valle de Perote se esperan vientos de 70 a 85 km/h.

El pronóstico también advierte potencial de lluvias y tormentas fuertes a muy fuertes para esta tarde-noche, con los mayores acumulados en las cuencas del Tecolutla al Colipa y en el sur del estado.

El contraste térmico en el territorio veracruzano es notable: mientras Perote registra temperaturas bajo cero en la madrugada, Coatzacoalcos alcanzó los 28 grados centígrados, y Xalapa marcó 17 grados con sensación de 25.

Las condiciones de cielo mayormente nublado prevalecen en gran parte del estado, con ambiente diurno cálido en llanuras y costas que contrasta con el frío intenso de las regiones montañosas.

Xalapa, Ver.- Se prevé la llega de un ciclón tropical al norte de Veracruz este fin de semana, reforzando el temporal lluvioso, indicó la Secretaría de Protección Civil (SPC) del Estado.

Actualmente se da seguimiento a un débil disturbio tropical sobre el suroeste del Golfo de México, el cual tiene un 10 por ciento de evolucionar a ciclón tropical y arribe el sábado entre el sur de Tamaulipas y norte de Veracruz.

Este sistema mantendrá el potencial de lluvias con descargas eléctricas muy fuertes de 50 a 75 milímetros (mm) a intensos de 75 a 150 mm, principalmente sobre el sur tamaulipeco y en zonas montañosas desde la cuenca del Tuxpan hasta la cuenca del Papaloapan, así como eventos de menor intensidad para el resto de la región.

El ambiente diurno seguirá cálido en planicie y costa, así como templado en la montaña. Durante las noches y madrugadas, se espera un ambiente frío en zonas serranas de la región de pronóstico.

Para hoy viernes se lluvias y tormentas de 70 a 100 mm en regiones montañosas del centro, Los Tuxtlas, cuenca del Pánuco y partes bajas del Coatzacoalcos y Tonalá y de 50 a 70 mm en el resto del estado,

El sábado con máximos de 70 a 100 mm entre las cuencas del Pánuco al Tuxpan y región montañosa central y de 30 a 50 mm en el resto de la entidad.

Para el domingo igualmente máximos de 70 a 100 mm en la cuenca del Pánuco y de 20 a 50 mm entre las cuencas del Tuxpan a La Antigua.

Asimismo, el viento en estos días será de componente Noroeste y Noreste de 20 a 35 kilómetros por hora (km/h), con rachas de 40 a 50 km/h en la costa norte; de componente Suroeste en las costas centro y sur de 20 a 35 km/h y mayores en zonas de tormentas.

INE Veracruz presentó nuevo modelo de Credencial para Votar

Xalapa, Ver.- Con la integración de innovaciones tecnológicas, diversos mecanismos de protección de datos personales, así como elementos que favorecen una mayor inclusión, la Junta Local Ejecutiva del Instituto Nacional Electoral en el Estado de Veracruz, presentó la nueva Credencial para Votar.

En rueda de prensa, el Delegado del INE en la entidad Sergio Vera Olvera destacó que, por sus niveles de confianza y aceptación entre la ciudadanía, la Credencial para Votar es hoy en día, el principal medio de identificación oficial y es aceptada por prácticamente todas las instituciones públicas y privadas en nuestro país.
“La confianza ciudadana se construye todos los días, y la seguridad de la Credencial para Votar es parte fundamental de ese compromiso permanente del Instituto Nacional Electoral” expresó.

Puntualizó que a partir del 1 de junio de 2026, el Instituto inició la producción de un nuevo modelo de Credencial para Votar, resultado de la renovación tecnológica del servicio de producción y de la incorporación de elementos de seguridad de última generación que fortalecen su autenticidad y dificultan cualquier intento de alteración o falsificación.

Durante la presentación, la encargada de Despacho de la Vocalía del Registro Federal de Electores de la Junta Local, Verónica Peralta Alarcón, reveló que la protección de la identidad ha sido históricamente, uno de los retos del INE y el principal logro del modelo actual de Credencial para Votar.

Expuso que el Dispositivo de Imagen Ópticamente Variable Difractivo (DOVID), es uno de los mecanismos de autenticación más complejos que se han incorporado a este nuevo modelo.
A este dispositivo se suman complejos procesos de manufactura e impresión como los efectos tridimensionales, microtextos especializados y nanotextos.

La nueva credencial incorpora también fotografías a color de alta resolución, fotografías impresas con tintas reactivas a luz ultravioleta, imágenes latentes así como efectos ópticos especializados asó como códigos QR de alta densidad diseñados con el propósito de mejorar los procesos de validación.

En suma, la combinación de diversos mecanismos de seguridad física, óptica, digital y criptográfica hacen de esta nueva Credencial para Votar un instrumento de identificación seguro y vanguardista.

Xalapa, Ver.- La Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes (SICT), a través del Centro SICT Veracruz atiende de manera oportuna las afectaciones ocasionadas por las fuertes lluvias en la sierra de Zongolica.

Este martes, se registró un derrumbe sobre la Ruta No. 150, en el km 9+450, correspondiente al tramo Orizaba–Zongolica de la carretera Tehuac a la altura del sitio conocido como La Cumbre de San Andrés Tenejapán–Córdoba.

De manera inmediata, personal técnico y operativo acudió al sitio para evaluar las condiciones y realizar las acciones necesarias para preservar la seguridad de los usuarios.

Como resultado de estos trabajos, se habilitó un carril para la circulación vehicular, por lo que el tránsito opera con precaución.

En el lugar se realizan labores de limpieza y retiro de material desprendido, con el propósito de restablecer plenamente las condiciones de tránsito en la zona; asimismo, se mantiene el monitoreo permanente del área, debido a que las lluvias
persisten en la región y podrían generar nuevos desprendimientos.

La SICT refrendó su compromiso con la seguridad de la población y de quienes transitan por la Red Carretera Federal, por lo que, mantendrá vigilancia constante y coordinación con las autoridades correspondientes para atender cualquier eventualidad.

Se exhorta a las personas a conducir con precaución, respetar la señalización preventiva y atender las indicaciones del personal operativo, además se hizo el llamado a la población para mantenerse informado a través de los medios oficiales.
