Córdoba, Ver.- El líder nacional de la Unión Local de Productores de Caña de Azúcar CNC (ULPCA-CNC), Javier Sánchez Chávez, advirtió que al menos cinco ingenios azucareros del país enfrentan una situación crítica que podría derivar en su cierre, entre ellos el Ingenio San Pedro, ubicado en Veracruz.

Durante una entrevista, el dirigente cañero reconoció que la industria azucarera atraviesa momentos complicados en distintas regiones del país, señalando que también existen problemas en ingenios de estados como Michoacán y San Luis Potosí.

Sánchez Chávez calificó como preocupante el panorama para el sector, al considerar que el cierre de una factoría azucarera no sólo afecta a productores y trabajadores, sino a toda la economía regional.

“Cuando se cierra un ingenio se acaba la economía del pueblo”, expresó al referirse al impacto que tienen estas industrias en comunidades cuya principal actividad económica gira en torno a la producción de caña y azúcar.

Respecto al Ingenio El Potrero, ubicado en el municipio de Atoyac, indicó que ha circulado información sobre posibles riesgos para su operación; sin embargo, consideró que cuenta con ventajas importantes debido a que se encuentra en el centro de una amplia zona de abastecimiento cañero, lo que podría permitir corregir problemas financieros y operativos.

El dirigente sostuvo que para evitar el cierre de ingenios es necesaria la participación conjunta de todos los sectores involucrados, incluyendo productores, obreros, empresarios y autoridades gubernamentales.

“Debemos entrarle todos. Gobierno, cañeros y obreros principalmente. Todos tenemos que aportar nuestro granito de arena para que esto funcione”, manifestó.

Añadió que de no tomarse medidas oportunas, las consecuencias podrían ser severas para las regiones donde operan estos complejos industriales, debido a la pérdida de empleos y la disminución de la actividad económica.

No obstante , hizo un llamado a los distintos actores de la cadena productiva para buscar soluciones que permitan fortalecer la agroindustria azucarera y evitar que más ingenios suspendan operaciones en el país.

Amatlán de los Reyes, Ver.- Un millón 509 mil pesos aparecen como recursos “desaparecidos” en términos de comprobación dentro de las cuentas del Ayuntamiento de Amatlán de los Reyes, luego de que el ORFIS detectó traspasos bancarios cuyo reintegro o aplicación no fue acreditado durante la administración del morenista Luis Arturo Figueroa Vargas.

Los movimientos corresponden a dos observaciones financieras de la Cuenta Pública 2025, ejercicio que corresponde al último año de la administración municipal encabezada por Luis Arturo Figueroa Vargas.

De acuerdo con el informe individual del ORFIS, en una de las observaciones fueron detectados dos traspasos entre cuentas de Santander por un total de 321 mil 531.05 pesos.

El primero, por 84 mil 550.23 pesos, fue realizado el 19 de diciembre de 2025, mientras que el segundo, por 236 mil 980.82 pesos, ocurrió el 22 de diciembre del mismo año.

Ambos recursos fueron enviados a otra cuenta bancaria del Ayuntamiento, sin que la documentación presentada ante el órgano fiscalizador acreditara su recuperación o su aplicación en obras o acciones autorizadas.

En otra observación, el ORFIS detectó movimientos por un millón 287 mil 758 pesos.

Uno de ellos correspondió a un traspaso de 103 mil 240 pesos realizado el 31 de marzo de 2025, del cual solamente se acreditó el reintegro de 100 mil pesos, quedando pendientes 3 mil 240 pesos.

Además, el 3 de marzo de 2025 fueron transferidos un millón 184 mil 518 pesos desde una cuenta de Santander hacia una cuenta de Banorte, en este caso, el informe no acreditó el reintegro de los recursos.

De esta manera, ambos casos sumaron un millón 509 mil 289.05 pesos que permanecieron sin comprobar plenamente ante el ORFIS, al no acreditarse su recuperación o aplicación conforme a lo autorizado.

En el conjunto de las revisiones financieras, el órgano fiscalizador determinó un presunto daño patrimonial por un millón 812 mil 659.87 pesos.

A esta cantidad se suman observaciones relacionadas con obra pública que elevaron el monto total de presunto daño patrimonial de la Cuenta Pública 2025 a 10 millones 536 mil 525.77 pesos.

El informe señala que las observaciones que hacen presumir daño patrimonial serán sujetas a los procedimientos correspondientes para determinar las responsabilidades que, en su caso, procedan.

Instalan alumbrado público por primera vez en camino hacia Francisco Paz, en Yanga

Yanga, Ver.— Por primera vez, el camino que comunica a la cabecera municipal con la localidad de General Francisco Paz, conocida como El Poblado, contará con alumbrado público, luego del inicio de los trabajos para instalar luminarias en este acceso.

La obra contempla la colocación de 32 lámparas LED en el tramo comprendido entre Calle del Puente y Calle 7, considerado uno de los principales accesos hacia esta comunidad.

Los trabajos buscan mejorar las condiciones de iluminación durante las noches para las personas que utilizan diariamente este camino, además de brindar mayor visibilidad a quienes se trasladan entre la cabecera municipal y la localidad.

La instalación del alumbrado representa una intervención en materia de infraestructura y servicios para una zona que hasta ahora no contaba con este tipo de iluminación en el acceso.

Con el arranque de la obra, comenzaron las labores correspondientes para el suministro y colocación de las luminarias LED, que quedarán distribuidas a lo largo del tramo contemplado dentro del proyecto.

Habitantes de General Francisco Paz utilizan este camino para trasladarse hacia la cabecera municipal y realizar actividades comerciales, educativas y laborales, por lo que la iluminación permitirá contar con mejores condiciones para el tránsito nocturno.

La obra forma parte de las acciones de infraestructura que se desarrollan en comunidades del municipio de Yanga, con trabajos enfocados en ampliar la cobertura de servicios públicos.

Una vez concluidos los trabajos, el acceso principal hacia Francisco Paz contará con 32 puntos de iluminación, lo que modificará las condiciones actuales del camino durante las horas de menor visibilidad.

Omealca, Ver.- Autoridades municipales dieron inicio a la construcción de un techado en el área de usos múltiples del preescolar Ovidio Decroly, ubicado en la localidad de Río Moreno, con el objetivo de contar con un espacio protegido para las actividades de los estudiantes.

El arranque de los trabajos estuvo encabezado por el alcalde Dionisio Herrera Torres, quien acudió acompañado por integrantes del cabildo municipal: la síndica única, Maricela Colorado Romero; la regidora primera, Julia Morales Rodríguez, y la regidora segunda, Jannia Medina Cervantes.

La obra contempla la construcción de una cubierta en el área de usos múltiples del plantel, espacio que es utilizado por los alumnos para actividades cívicas, deportivas y recreativas.

Con el nuevo techado, la comunidad escolar contará con un área que permitirá desarrollar estas actividades sin exposición directa a las condiciones climáticas, principalmente durante los periodos de lluvia o altas temperaturas.

Durante el inicio de los trabajos, autoridades municipales señalaron que la obra responde a una necesidad planteada por la comunidad educativa y forma parte de las acciones de infraestructura que se realizan en localidades del municipio.

Los trabajos comenzarán formalmente en el plantel Ovidio Decroly, donde alumnos, docentes y familias podrán disponer posteriormente de un espacio acondicionado para las actividades que se realizan durante el ciclo escolar.

La obra fue puesta en marcha con la presencia de autoridades municipales y representantes de la comunidad educativa de Río Moreno.
