Cancelan proyecto de casetas en la autopista Puebla-Orizaba

Orizaba, Ver. – La instalación de dos casetas de cobro sobre la autopista Puebla-Orizaba fue cancelada de manera definitiva, luego de que vecinos, transportistas y empresarios se pronunciaron en contra del proyecto, alegando impactos económicos y sociales negativos.

El anuncio fue confirmado por el presidente municipal de Orizaba, Juan Manuel Diez Francos, quien participó en la reunión en la Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes (SICT) en la Ciudad de México.

Acompañado del secretario de Gobierno, Ricardo Ahued, y del ingeniero especialista en carreteras Raúl Martínez, el alcalde explicó que el proyecto carecía de viabilidad técnica y social.

El plan, impulsado por la empresa colombiana Cal y Mayor, generó una oposición sostenida por el sector empresarial y la ciudadanía.

Comerciantes y transportistas advirtieron que las casetas encarecerían el transporte, afectarían la economía local y provocarían congestionamientos en una vía de alta circulación.

Durante el encuentro, la delegación veracruzana presentó informes técnicos, estudios de trazo alternativo y pruebas de impacto ambiental, algunos elaborados hace más de una década, que reforzaron la decisión de cancelar la iniciativa.

La cancelación fue respaldada por el subsecretario de Comunicaciones y Transportes, Juan Carlos Fuentes, y por Jorge Sánchez Mendoza, altos funcionarios de la SICT, quienes coincidieron en la inviabilidad del proyecto.

Finalmente, Diez Francos señaló que, por instrucción de la gobernadora Rocío Nahle García, los recursos originalmente destinados a las casetas se aplicarán en obras prioritarias para la región, buscando un beneficio directo para la población y el desarrollo económico de los municipios.

“El proyecto no avanzará y los recursos se usarán de manera más eficiente para atender necesidades reales”, concluyó, destacando que la cancelación es resultado de presión social, política y económica.

Córdoba, Ver.. – En el marco de la conmemoración por el 205 aniversario de la firma de los Tratados de Córdoba, el Ayuntamiento, a través de la Coordinación de Bienestar Social y la Jefatura de Cultura, continúa trabajando en la agenda cultural para fortalecer esta temporada vacacional, ampliando la oferta artística del municipio y consolidando a Córdoba como un referente cultural de la región.

Como parte de la celebración de este acontecimiento histórico que permitió encaminar la culminación del movimiento de Independencia de México, la ciudad prepara una cartelera con diversas actividades artísticas, culturales y académicas que se desarrollarán del 01 al 29 de agosto, teniendo como fecha central el 24 de agosto, día en que se conmemora la firma de los Tratados de Córdoba.

La programación incluirá presentaciones artísticas, tales como: el recital de guitarra con Dana Paola Fierro Sánchez e invitados; Verbenas populares donde los asistentes podrán disfrutar de actividades como: presentaciones folklóricas, musicales y teatrales; el Taller de Jazz Córdoba o de Ballet Folklórico; el concierto Manos a las Arpas con Ernesto Cervantes Cruz y Salvador Peña Herrera; la participación de Fomento Artístico Cordobés; Grupo Son de Madera; Son Jarocho Tradicional; el Concurso Nacional de Rondallas Tepoztlán (CONARTE) y mucho más, fortaleciendo la agenda turística del municipio, ofreciendo a los visitantes y habitantes experiencias que permitan disfrutar la riqueza histórica y cultural de Córdoba.

Sumado a esto, complementando la agenda y siendo parte conmemorativa de la memoria histórica, se realizará la presentación del libro La construcción del ferrocarril mexicano: el precursor Bernardo García Díaz, y José Antonio Ruiz Járquin; el monólogo “Sobrevivientes”, puesta en escena sobre la vida del insurgente Pascual de los Santos; la conferencia Presidentes masones de México, impartida por Wenceslao Vargas Márquez y la charla de los Tratados de Córdoba, seminario de cultura mexicana, espacios destinados al análisis y difusión del patrimonio histórico.

Con esta agenda cultural, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba reafirma su compromiso de preservar y difundir la memoria histórica del municipio, impulsando actividades que fortalezcan la identidad cordobesa, promuevan la participación ciudadana y posicionen a Córdoba como un destino cultural y turístico durante esta temporada.

Protesta laboral escala a bloqueo en Córdoba

Córdoba, Ver.- Lo que comenzó como una manifestación frente a las instalaciones de la empresa de traslado de valores Cometra terminó con el cierre del bulevar Tratados de Córdoba, luego de que un grupo de indígenas de Soledad Atzompa endureció sus acciones para exigir el pago de la liquidación de tres extrabajadores.

La protesta inició durante la tarde de este miércoles en las oficinas de la empresa, ubicadas sobre la avenida 41, entre calles 27 y 29 de la colonia Paraíso.

Los inconformes, respaldados por la Coordinadora de Artesanos Zepaniah Titlatoske, acudieron para solicitar una reunión con directivos y demandar que las indemnizaciones de los empleados despedidos se cubran conforme a la legislación laboral.

Al no obtener respuesta, los manifestantes optaron por trasladarse a la salida de Córdoba hacia la autopista, donde bloquearon completamente el bulevar Tratados de Córdoba, una de las vías con mayor afluencia vehicular en la ciudad.

Durante el cierre de la circulación fueron incendiadas llantas y montones de basura sobre el pavimento, provocando una columna de humo que podía observarse a varios kilómetros de distancia. La protesta generó congestionamiento vehicular tanto para quienes pretendían incorporarse a la autopista como para los automovilistas que ingresaban al municipio.

Los integrantes de la organización señalaron que los tres trabajadores fueron despedidos sin recibir la liquidación que les corresponde por ley, por lo que exigieron que la empresa respete sus derechos laborales y establezca un diálogo para resolver el conflicto.

Asimismo, denunciaron que existen compañías que recurren a procedimientos legales para disminuir o evitar el pago total de las prestaciones laborales, situación que, afirmaron, deja a las familias de los trabajadores sin ingresos y sin posibilidad de enfrentar el proceso de separación laboral en condiciones justas.

Los inconformes advirtieron que el bloqueo representa la primera de varias acciones que podrían emprender si la empresa mantiene su postura de no atender sus demandas. Incluso, no descartaron ampliar las movilizaciones en Córdoba o realizar nuevas protestas en otros puntos estratégicos de la región.

La movilización obligó a elementos de Tránsito Municipal a implementar desvíos para reducir las afectaciones a la circulación, mientras corporaciones de seguridad permanecieron en la zona para evitar incidentes mayores y resguardar el orden público.

Córdoba, Ver.- HidroSistema de Córdoba informó sobre la actualización de las tarifas por el servicio de agua potable, luego de que el ajuste fuera publicado en la Gaceta Oficial del Estado de Veracruz el pasado 9 de julio.

El incremento autorizado es de 4.53 por ciento y comenzará a reflejarse en los recibos correspondientes al consumo de julio, cuyo pago se realizará durante agosto.

De acuerdo con la información difundida por el organismo operador, la modificación aplica únicamente al concepto de agua potable. Al monto total del recibo se suman otros conceptos ya establecidos, como el 25 por ciento correspondiente al servicio de alcantarillado sanitario y un 10 por ciento de contribución adicional para usuarios de los sectores popular, interés social, urbano medio, residencial y campestre. En los casos de uso comercial e industrial también se agrega el Impuesto al Valor Agregado (IVA).

HidroSistema explicó que la actualización tarifaria responde al incremento registrado en los costos de operación durante los últimos años, entre ellos combustibles, energía eléctrica, materiales, insumos químicos, refacciones y mano de obra necesarios para la prestación del servicio.

El organismo señaló que las tarifas habían permanecido prácticamente sin cambios durante los últimos tres años y que el ajuste busca contribuir al mantenimiento de la infraestructura hidráulica, la continuidad del suministro, la atención de fugas, la reposición de equipos y el cumplimiento de las normas sanitarias y ambientales.

Junto con el anuncio, también fue publicada la tabla con las nuevas tarifas para usuarios de los distintos sectores, entre ellos popular, interés social, residencial, comercial, industrial e instituciones públicas, con cobros diferenciados de acuerdo con el consumo registrado en metros cúbicos.

Las autoridades indicaron que la información sobre las nuevas tarifas ya se encuentra disponible para consulta de los usuarios, quienes podrán conocer el monto correspondiente según su tipo de servicio y nivel de consumo.
