Rosario Palafox rinde cuarto informe y entrega a Córdoba un Hidrosistemas con obras, estabilidad y finanzas sanas

Córdoba, Ver. — La L.C.P. María del Rosario Palafox Aguilera, directora general de Hidrosistemas de Córdoba, presentó su cuarto informe de actividades, cerrando un ciclo marcado por obras en colonias y comunidades, mejoras en infraestructura hidráulica y un logro excepcional: cuatro años sin incrementar el costo del agua para los cordobeses.

El evento destacó porque el organismo operador del agua pasó de recibir una administración en números rojos a entregar, por primera vez en su historia, más de 6 millones de pesos en caja a la siguiente gestión. Un hecho que, de acuerdo con el propio equipo técnico, “nunca había ocurrido”.

Palafox Aguilera explicó que, cuando llegó, Hidrosistemas enfrentaba rezagos financieros y operativos que impedían avanzar en proyectos prioritarios. Cuatro años después, la realidad es distinta: estabilidad económica, cartera recuperada y una operación más eficiente.

Entre los trabajos más relevantes ejecutados durante su gestión se incluyen rehabilitación de líneas de conducción, modernización de equipos de bombeo, ampliaciones de red, atención en zonas de estiaje y obras en colonias donde la infraestructura hidráulica llevaba años sin recibir mantenimiento.

La directora destacó que la decisión de mantener congeladas las tarifas no fue casualidad, sino un compromiso social derivado de la situación económica de miles de familias. “La solución estaba dentro del organismo, no en cargarle más a los ciudadanos”, señaló.

El informe también mostró mejoras en la calidad del servicio, reducción de fugas, mantenimiento preventivo y acciones para garantizar abasto en puntos críticos. Vecinos y representantes de diversas colonias reconocieron la intervención del organismo en sectores donde el agua llegaba con baja presión o de manera irregular.

Al concluir el acto, miembros del Consejo de Hidrosistemas y trabajadores operativos aplaudieron la transición que se entrega: un organismo con cuentas claras, obras realizadas y recursos disponibles. “Se recibe un Hidrosistemas ordenado, se entrega un Hidrosistemas en números negros”, resumió Palafox Aguilera.

Con este informe, la directora cierra una administración que transformó la operación hidráulica de Córdoba y deja bases sólidas para que la siguiente gestión continúe con proyectos de modernización.

Ciudad Mendoza, Ver.- La Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Veracruzana, región Orizaba-Córdoba, retomará sus actividades académicas este jueves 24 de septiembre, luego de 23 días de paro estudiantil y tras concretarse una serie de acuerdos entre los alumnos y autoridades universitarias.

La Universidad Veracruzana informó este miércoles que el movimiento quedó concluido oficialmente después de las reuniones sostenidas con representantes de los estudiantes, en las que se alcanzaron 12 acuerdos para permitir la reapertura del plantel ubicado en Camerino Z. Mendoza.

El paro comenzó el pasado 1 de septiembre y desde entonces las actividades académicas permanecieron suspendidas en la Facultad de Medicina. Durante este periodo, los estudiantes mantuvieron tomadas las instalaciones mientras se desarrollaban mesas de diálogo para revisar las demandas planteadas ante las autoridades universitarias.

El acuerdo alcanzado permitió destrabar las negociaciones y establecer las condiciones para que la comunidad estudiantil pueda regresar a las aulas. De acuerdo con la institución, las clases y actividades administrativas volverán a desarrollarse en los horarios habituales a partir de este jueves.

Como parte de los preparativos para la reapertura, durante este miércoles se llevan a cabo trabajos de limpieza y acondicionamiento dentro de las instalaciones, con el objetivo de dejar listos los espacios después de las semanas en que permanecieron sin actividades ordinarias.

Uno de los temas que quedará pendiente de definir es la manera en que se recuperarán las clases y evaluaciones que no pudieron realizarse durante el paro. Para ello, las coordinaciones académicas y jefaturas de departamento deberán informar los ajustes al calendario escolar y las nuevas fechas de las actividades que hayan sido reprogramadas.

La Universidad Veracruzana señaló que estos cambios serán comunicados a estudiantes y docentes conforme se establezca la programación correspondiente.

El cierre del paro pone fin a una de las etapas de mayor tensión reciente en la Facultad de Medicina de la región, donde los estudiantes mantuvieron su protesta durante más de tres semanas en espera de respuestas a sus planteamientos.

Ahora, con el regreso a las actividades, corresponderá a las autoridades universitarias y representantes estudiantiles dar seguimiento a los 12 acuerdos alcanzados durante las mesas de negociación.

La UV pidió a la comunidad de la Facultad mantenerse atenta a los comunicados oficiales para conocer cualquier modificación relacionada con el calendario académico, evaluaciones, recuperación de clases y demás actividades programadas.

Así, después de 23 días de suspensión, la Facultad de Medicina de la UV prepara el retorno de sus estudiantes y docentes a partir de este jueves, mientras se avanza en la reorganización de las actividades que quedaron pendientes durante el movimiento.

Córdoba será sede de competencia regional de tostado de café

Córdoba, Ver.- Productores, tostadores, empresarios, especialistas y estudiantes relacionados con la industria cafetalera se reunirán en Córdoba durante la 2.ª Competencia Regional de Tostado Sur-Sureste de México, como parte de las actividades por el Día Mundial del Café.

El encuentro se desarrollará del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre, con actividades en distintos espacios de la ciudad y la participación de representantes del sector cafetalero de la región.

El programa iniciará el 29 de septiembre con la apertura de la exposición fotográfica “Córdoba, Capital del Café”, en el Parque 21 de Mayo.

Para el 30 de septiembre se tienen contempladas carreras de costales de café y una demostración de Brew Bar en el Museo del Café, mientras que el 1 de octubre se realizará una demostración de Arte Latte y la ceremonia de premiación de la competencia regional de tostado.

La competencia busca reunir a tostadores y especialistas para mostrar sus conocimientos y técnicas en el procesamiento del grano, además de generar un espacio de intercambio entre los diferentes sectores que participan en la cadena productiva.

El proyecto es promovido por la Asociación de Creadores por el Desarrollo Social y la Asociación Mexicana de Cafés y Cafeterías de Especialidad, con respaldo de autoridades municipales y representantes de la iniciativa privada.

Durante la presentación del programa participaron autoridades de Córdoba e Ixhuatlán del Café, así como integrantes de organizaciones empresariales, cafeterías, instituciones educativas y empresas vinculadas con el café.

Las actividades también pretenden acercar al público a diferentes procesos relacionados con esta bebida, desde el trabajo de los productores y tostadores hasta las técnicas utilizadas en cafeterías y establecimientos especializados.

La jornada concluirá el 1 de octubre, fecha en que se conmemora el Día Mundial del Café, con el reconocimiento a los participantes de la Competencia Regional de Tostado Sur-Sureste de México.

Destinan más de 7 mdp a obras en Santa Margarita y Tinajitas

Córdoba, Ver.- Dos obras de rehabilitación arrancaron este lunes en distintos puntos de Córdoba, con una inversión conjunta de 7 millones 126 mil 547 pesos provenientes del Fondo de Aportaciones para la Infraestructura Social Municipal (FAISMUN).

Los trabajos se desarrollarán durante los últimos meses de 2026 y tienen como fecha prevista de conclusión el próximo 18 de diciembre.

Las acciones contemplan mejoras en vialidades y servicios básicos tanto en la zona urbana como en una comunidad rural.

En el Infonavit Santa Margarita comenzó la rehabilitación integral del retorno 7 de la calle Santa Margarita, proyecto que representa una inversión superior a los 4.5 millones de pesos y tendrá impacto directo para 3 mil 466 habitantes.

La intervención abarcará aproximadamente 990 metros cuadrados e incluye la reconstrucción de la pavimentación con concreto hidráulico, además de trabajos en el drenaje sanitario y la red de agua entubada.

También se contempla la rehabilitación del alumbrado público en el área, con lo que se busca mejorar las condiciones de circulación y los servicios para las familias que habitan en este sector de la ciudad.

Durante el arranque estuvieron autoridades municipales y representantes vecinales, quienes dieron inicio formal a los trabajos correspondientes a esta zona habitacional.

De manera paralela, en la localidad de Tinajitas del Gallego se puso en marcha otra obra de infraestructura, enfocada en mejorar las condiciones de la carretera principal.

Para este proyecto fueron destinados 2 millones 618 mil 835 pesos, recursos con los que se aplicará carpeta asfáltica en caliente en un tramo de 368 metros.

La obra beneficiará directamente a los 109 habitantes de la localidad, al mejorar la superficie de rodamiento y las condiciones de traslado hacia esta comunidad.

Ambos proyectos forman parte del programa de obras ejecutado con recursos del FAISMUN y se suman a las acciones de infraestructura que el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba realiza durante el último trimestre del año.

Los trabajos abarcan necesidades distintas: mientras en Santa Margarita se atenderán vialidades y redes de servicios básicos, en Tinajitas la intervención estará concentrada en mejorar la conectividad carretera.

Con estas dos obras, la inversión municipal supera los siete millones de pesos y contempla una atención conjunta a sectores urbanos y rurales del municipio.
