Córdoba, Ver. — La L.C.P. María del Rosario Palafox Aguilera, directora general de Hidrosistemas de Córdoba, presentó su cuarto informe de actividades, cerrando un ciclo marcado por obras en colonias y comunidades, mejoras en infraestructura hidráulica y un logro excepcional: cuatro años sin incrementar el costo del agua para los cordobeses.
El evento destacó porque el organismo operador del agua pasó de recibir una administración en números rojos a entregar, por primera vez en su historia, más de 6 millones de pesos en caja a la siguiente gestión. Un hecho que, de acuerdo con el propio equipo técnico, “nunca había ocurrido”.
Palafox Aguilera explicó que, cuando llegó, Hidrosistemas enfrentaba rezagos financieros y operativos que impedían avanzar en proyectos prioritarios. Cuatro años después, la realidad es distinta: estabilidad económica, cartera recuperada y una operación más eficiente.
Entre los trabajos más relevantes ejecutados durante su gestión se incluyen rehabilitación de líneas de conducción, modernización de equipos de bombeo, ampliaciones de red, atención en zonas de estiaje y obras en colonias donde la infraestructura hidráulica llevaba años sin recibir mantenimiento.
La directora destacó que la decisión de mantener congeladas las tarifas no fue casualidad, sino un compromiso social derivado de la situación económica de miles de familias. “La solución estaba dentro del organismo, no en cargarle más a los ciudadanos”, señaló.
El informe también mostró mejoras en la calidad del servicio, reducción de fugas, mantenimiento preventivo y acciones para garantizar abasto en puntos críticos. Vecinos y representantes de diversas colonias reconocieron la intervención del organismo en sectores donde el agua llegaba con baja presión o de manera irregular.
Al concluir el acto, miembros del Consejo de Hidrosistemas y trabajadores operativos aplaudieron la transición que se entrega: un organismo con cuentas claras, obras realizadas y recursos disponibles. “Se recibe un Hidrosistemas ordenado, se entrega un Hidrosistemas en números negros”, resumió Palafox Aguilera.
Con este informe, la directora cierra una administración que transformó la operación hidráulica de Córdoba y deja bases sólidas para que la siguiente gestión continúe con proyectos de modernización.

Advierten crisis de seguridad para la prensa

Córdoba, Ver.- Periodistas de Córdoba y municipios de la región se manifestaron este jueves en el parque 21 de Mayo para exigir justicia por el asesinato del reportero Luis Ángel López Valdez, ocurrido en Poza Rica, y demandar garantías para el ejercicio periodístico en Veracruz, entidad que desde hace más de dos décadas figura entre las más peligrosas del país para quienes desempeñan labores informativas.
La movilización reunió a comunicadores, fotógrafos y directores de medios de comunicación, quienes coincidieron en que el homicidio del periodista representa un nuevo golpe para la libertad de expresión. Durante el acto, los participantes recordaron que Veracruz acumula más de 30 periodistas asesinados desde el año 2000, según registros de organizaciones nacionales e internacionales de defensa de la prensa, una cifra que coloca al estado entre los de mayor riesgo para el gremio en México.
Hugo Morales Alejo, director de La Nigua, y Benito Juárez Ramírez, director de Proyecto 13, señalaron que la impunidad continúa siendo uno de los principales factores que propician la repetición de estos hechos. Indicaron que diversos asesinatos y agresiones contra comunicadores registrados en años recientes permanecen sin resolverse, mientras las familias de las víctimas continúan esperando justicia.
Los asistentes también recordaron casos emblemáticos como los de Regina Martínez, corresponsal asesinada en Xalapa en 2012; María Elena Ferral, ultimada en 2020 en Papantla; Ricardo Monluí Cabrera, asesinado en Yanga en 2017; y Moisés Sánchez Cerezo, desaparecido y posteriormente localizado sin vida en Medellín de Bravo en 2015. Familiares de algunos de ellos participaron en una charla organizada previamente por Artículo 19 en la Sala Z de Córdoba.
Durante el encuentro se analizaron las condiciones actuales para el ejercicio periodístico en Veracruz y el país. Asimismo, mediante videoconferencia participó Javier Vázquez, integrante de Artículo 19, quien dialogó con reporteros sobre los mecanismos de protección existentes y los desafíos que enfrentan los comunicadores, particularmente quienes cubren temas relacionados con seguridad, corrupción y violencia.
Al concluir la concentración, los periodistas hicieron un llamado a las autoridades estatales y federales para que el asesinato de Luis Ángel López sea investigado de manera exhaustiva y se castigue a todos los responsables. También exigieron avances en los casos pendientes de homicidios, desapariciones y agresiones contra periodistas, al considerar que la falta de resultados mantiene vigente un clima de vulnerabilidad para el ejercicio de la libertad de expresión en Veracruz.

Dan trámites gratuitos de rectificación administrativa de actas del Registro Civil
Ayuntamiento fortalece la certeza jurídica de la ciudadanía
Córdoba, Ver..- Con el objetivo de garantizar que la documentación oficial de la ciudadanía sea precisa y esté actualizada, la Oficialía del Registro Civil mantiene vigente el trámite de rectificación administrativa, un procedimiento gratuito que permite corregir errores en actas de nacimiento y matrimonio.
Martín García Páez, titular de la dependencia, informó que este servicio está dirigido a personas que requieran corregir datos mal asentados en sus documentos, tales como nombres, apellidos o domicilio. Asimismo, precisó que esta modalidad no aplica para actas de defunción.
Para acceder al trámite, los interesados deben demostrar el error mediante documentos oficiales que acrediten la información correcta, un requisito indispensable para que el Registro Civil pueda validar y efectuar la modificación.
El funcionario destacó la gratuidad de estas correcciones, una medida que busca facilitar el acceso de la población a servicios registrales confiables. Por otra parte, señaló que la oficina mantiene una alta demanda diaria, expidiendo entre 150 y 200 actas certificadas para diversos trámites personales, educativos y administrativos.
La atención al público se brinda de lunes a viernes, de 8:30 a 16:00 horas. Además, se mantienen guardias los sábados y domingos exclusivamente para el trámite de actas de defunción.
Finalmente, García Páez invitó a quienes necesiten corregir sus documentos a acudir a las oficinas con los requisitos correspondientes para recibir orientación y realizar el proceso de manera ágil y segura.

Córdoba, Ver..- Con la finalidad de generar mejores condiciones de movilidad y seguridad para las familias de la zona rural, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba continúa impulsando acciones para el mejoramiento de la infraestructura básica en las localidades del municipio.
A través de la coordinación de Bienestar Social y la Jefatura de Participación Ciudadana, se gestionó y entregó material para la rehabilitación del muro de contención ubicado en la entrada de la comunidad de San Aparicio, obra solicitada por el subagente municipal, Benito Ramírez Martínez.
El apoyo consistió en dos toneladas de cemento gris, una tonelada de cal, quince varillas de 3/8″, cincuenta kilos de alambrón, veinte kilos de alambre recocido y un viaje de siete metros cúbicos tanto de arena como de grava. Asimismo, durante la semana se realizará la entrega complementaria de dos viajes de piedra, una tonelada de cemento, una tonelada de cal y cinco varillas, a fin de fortalecer las acciones emprendidas y contribuir al adecuado desarrollo de la obra.
Estas acciones forman parte de la estrategia impulsada por el alcalde Manuel Alonso Cerezo, quien ha reiterado la importancia de atender las necesidades prioritarias de las comunidades, especialmente aquellas relacionadas con la seguridad, conectividad y el mejoramiento de los accesos.
