Río Blanco, Ver.- Un incendio de pastizales en la parte posterior de la unidad habitacional Villas de Río Blanco continúa fuera de control, extendiéndose hacia un terreno ubicado entre las unidades habitacionales Jardines de San Buenaventura y Villas de Río Blanco.
La emergencia ha obligado a la evacuación de varias familias y estudiantes ante el riesgo de que las llamas lleguen a las viviendas.
El fuego, avivado por el viento y la maleza seca, ha avanzado rápidamente, generando una densa columna de humo que afecta la visibilidad en la zona.
Vecinos reportaron que el calor y el humo han comenzado a filtrarse en algunas casas, por lo que Protección Civil ha recomendado desalojar preventivamente a quienes se encuentran en áreas de mayor peligro.
Protección Civil, Bomberos y, sobre todo, vecinos de ambas unidades habitacionales trabajan incansablemente para combatir el fuego, pero las condiciones climáticas han dificultado las labores.
A pesar de los esfuerzos, las llamas siguen propagándose y amenazan con alcanzar más predios.
Hasta el momento no se reportan personas lesionadas, pero la incertidumbre y la preocupación crecen entre los habitantes, quienes temen que el incendio se salga de control.
Autoridades han pedido a la población mantenerse alerta y evitar acercarse a la zona siniestrada. Se espera que en las próximas horas se informe sobre los avances en las labores de contención.

Córdoba, Ver.— Una segunda persona murió este tras diez días hospitalizada a consecuencia de las heridas sufridas durante un ataque armado registrado el pasado 27 de octubre en la colonia Antorchista de Córdoba, donde también perdió la vida un menor de 15 años.
El fallecido fue identificado como Alberto Gómez Sorcia, de 41 años, quien trabajaba como guardia de seguridad privada.
Según testigos, el hombre se dirigía a recoger a sus hijos a la escuela cuando quedó atrapado en un tiroteo entre civiles armados que perseguían a un joven, identificado como Ángel, de 15 años.
Los hechos ocurrieron en la esquina de la calle Unión y la avenida Principal, donde los agresores dispararon de forma indiscriminada.
El adolescente murió en el lugar, mientras Gómez Sorcia y Aarón Ulises, de 22 años, resultaron gravemente heridos.
Gómez Sorcia recibió al menos cinco impactos de bala y permaneció internado en el Hospital Regional de Río Blanco, donde su estado se complicó por daños en órganos vitales.
Por su parte, Aarón Ulises continúa hospitalizado en estado crítico.
Los médicos reportaron que “se debate entre la vida y la muerte” a consecuencia de las lesiones producidas por los proyectiles.
Familiares de las víctimas denunciaron la falta de avances en la investigación y reclamaron la detención de los responsables. “Pedimos justicia y que las autoridades hagan su trabajo”, expresaron en declaraciones a medios locales.
La Fiscalía Regional de Córdoba no ha emitido información oficial sobre el caso, mientras vecinos de la zona denunciaron un incremento de hechos violentos y solicitaron mayor presencia policial.
Veracruz, uno de los estados más poblados del país, mantiene altos índices de homicidios vinculados al crimen organizado, pese a los operativos implementados por fuerzas estatales y federales.

Cuitláhuac, Ver.— Un trailero murió prensado y otro resultó herido en un choque entre dos camiones de carga registrado la madrugada de este viernes en la autopista Córdoba–Veracruz.
El accidente ocurrió a la altura del kilómetro 5, donde un tráiler con doble remolque que transportaba cerveza habría chocado por alcance contra un tráiler tipo tolva.
Tras el impacto, ambas unidades volcaron y bloquearon completamente los carriles con dirección al puerto de Veracruz.
El conductor del tráiler cervecero falleció en el lugar al quedar atrapado en la cabina. El chofer de la tolva fue trasladado a un hospital y su estado se reporta grave.
Elementos de la Guardia Nacional acudieron al sitio y acordonaron el área para permitir las labores de emergencia y retiro de los vehículos.
Las autoridades estimaron que el cierre de la autopista se prolongaría por al menos cinco horas, lo que generó una fila de vehículos de varios kilómetros.

Río Blanco, Ver. — A más de diez años del brutal crimen que estremeció a Río Blanco en pleno Día de las Madres, finalmente fue detenido Michelangelo Antonioni Juárez Reyes, señalado como el hijo que asesinó y enterró a su propia madre, María del Carmen Juárez Sandoval, dentro de su vivienda.
El crimen salió a la luz el Día de las Madres
El 7 de mayo de 2014, cuando se acercaba la celebración del 10 de Mayo, Lenochka del Carmen Reyes Juárez acudió desesperada ante el Ministerio Público para denunciar la desaparición de su mamá, de quien no sabía nada desde días atrás.
Al acudir con autoridades a la casa de su madre, un fétido olor invadió el lugar. Había cabello y manchas de sangre que delataban que algo terrible había ocurrido ahí.
Macabro hallazgo en el patio
En el patio, la tierra se veía removida. Al cavar, se encontró un bulto envuelto en una sábana. Era la propia María del Carmen, enterrada en su casa. La escena heló la sangre de vecinos y autoridades.
El hijo y su pareja, los principales sospechosos
Testimonios vecinales señalaron que en ese domicilio vivían Michelangelo Antonioni Juárez Reyes y su pareja, Jonathan Ulises Medina Rojas, quienes tenían constantes peleas y gritos con la víctima.
Días antes del hallazgo, ambos fueron vistos sacando los muebles apresuradamente, como si huyeran.
La mataron con una pala y luego intentaron quemarla
La investigación reveló que la madre fue golpeada brutalmente con una pala en la cabeza y en varias partes del cuerpo. Para borrar evidencia, intentaron incinerarla y después la enterraron en el patio de la vivienda.
