Cañeros toman ingenio San Nicolás

El sector cañero, dijo, no está de acuerdo en que pongan a Miguel Bello como gerente, pues conocen de su trabajo y defenderán los derechos de los cañeros.

Cuichapa, Ver. – Productores de caña adheridos a la Confederación Nacional Campesina (CNC) bloquearon los accesos al ingenio San Nicolás, en protesta por la imposición del gerente de campo.

Los productores acusan al gerente Miguel Bello, de haber incurrido en diversas irregularidades que dañaron al sector productivo.

“Hace seis años también se habían manifestado para exigir la salida de Miguel Bello porque incurría en arbitrariedades, por ello, ahora que pretenden imponérnoslos nuevamente alzamos la voz”, comentó el presidente de la Unión Local de Productores de Caña antes CNC, Alberto Figueroa.

El sector cañero, dijo, no está de acuerdo en que pongan a Miguel Bello como gerente, pues conocen de su trabajo y defenderán los derechos de los cañeros.

Así también señaló que a partir de mañana deberá la empresa entregar las papeletas para iniciar el pago de la liquidación el próximo viernes.

En caso de no hacerlo serán acreedores a el pago de la liquidación con intereses conforme lo marca la Ley de Desarrollo Sustentable de Caña de Azúcar.

Esperan que en las próximas horas les resuelvan, en caso contrario no darán ni un paso atrás.

Atoyac, Ver.- El incremento en el cupo de exportación de azúcar mexicana a Estados Unidos abre expectativas de una posible mejora en el precio de la caña para el ciclo azucarero 2026-2027, reconoció el dirigente de la Unión Nacional de Cañeros de la CNPR (UNC-CNPR) en el ingenio El Potrero, Ángel Gómez Tapia.

El Departamento de Agricultura de Estados Unidos publicó sus estimaciones de oferta y demanda de azúcar, en las que se contempla un cupo de exportación para México de 712 mil toneladas.

Este ajuste representa una oportunidad para la agroindustria azucarera nacional, debido a que una mayor cantidad de azúcar destinada al mercado internacional podría reducir la disponibilidad del producto en el mercado interno y favorecer el comportamiento de los precios.

Gómez Tapia explicó que, de mantenerse esta tendencia y concretarse nuevos incrementos en las próximas actualizaciones, podrían generarse condiciones más favorables para el precio de referencia de la caña, utilizado como base para el pago a los productores.

El dirigente de la UNC-CNPR destacó que el comportamiento de las exportaciones será un factor importante para determinar las perspectivas económicas del sector durante el próximo ciclo azucarero.

Sin embargo, el posible aumento en el pago a los cañeros dependerá también de la evolución de los precios internacionales, la producción nacional y las condiciones del mercado.

El anuncio genera expectativas entre los productores, quienes permanecen atentos a las siguientes publicaciones y a los efectos que el comportamiento de las exportaciones pueda tener en la comercialización del azúcar y en el precio de la materia prima.

Gómez Tapia plantea un escenario de optimismo moderado para el sector cañero, a la espera de que las condiciones del mercado permitan concretar una mejora en los ingresos de los productores.

Atoyac, Ver. — Las jóvenes que resultaron electas en el certamen de Reina de las Fiestas Patrias fueron recibidas en el Palacio Municipal, donde sostuvieron un encuentro con autoridades locales previo a las actividades conmemorativas del 15 y 16 de septiembre.

Durante la reunión, el presidente municipal Juan Carlos Rojas y la síndica única Gabriela Vargas Blanco felicitaron a las participantes que fueron seleccionadas como representantes de las celebraciones patrias y conversaron con ellas sobre las actividades que tendrán durante los eventos programados con motivo de las fiestas de Independencia.

Las autoridades municipales dieron a conocer a las jóvenes parte de la agenda en la que participarán durante los festejos del 15 y 16 de septiembre, fechas en las que se llevarán a cabo diversas actividades conmemorativas.

El encuentro sirvió también para que las representantes conocieran los detalles de su participación en los actos oficiales y actividades públicas que se desarrollarán durante las celebraciones.

Las jóvenes fueron invitadas a participar con entusiasmo en cada una de las actividades, en el marco de una celebración que reunirá a familias y habitantes del municipio para conmemorar las fechas patrias.

Con su elección como Reinas de las Fiestas Patrias, las participantes formarán parte de los eventos que se desarrollarán durante septiembre y acompañarán las actividades organizadas con motivo de la conmemoración de la Independencia de México.

Azota tormenta a Cuichapa y moviliza a cuerpos de emergencia

Cuichapa, Ver.- La fuerte tormenta que se registró durante la tarde-noche del sábado obligó a movilizar a elementos de Protección Civil Municipal en distintos puntos de Cuichapa, donde se atendieron reportes de la población y se realizaron recorridos para detectar posibles afectaciones.

Ante las condiciones climatológicas, el personal de emergencia activó un operativo de atención y vigilancia en las zonas donde se recibieron llamados de auxilio, con el objetivo de responder de manera inmediata ante cualquier situación que pudiera representar un riesgo para las familias.

Por instrucciones del alcalde Fernando Hernández Martínez, los elementos de Protección Civil mantuvieron recorridos durante y después de la tormenta para verificar las condiciones en caminos, viviendas y otros puntos susceptibles a registrar alguna afectación.

La presencia de lluvia intensa y rachas de viento generó preocupación entre habitantes del municipio, por lo que las autoridades mantuvieron comunicación con la población para recibir y canalizar los reportes.

Protección Civil recomendó a los habitantes extremar precauciones durante el desarrollo de tormentas, principalmente en sitios cercanos a corrientes de agua, zonas bajas y áreas donde pudieran presentarse desprendimientos de árboles o estructuras.

También pidió a la población mantenerse pendiente de los avisos meteorológicos y evitar desplazamientos innecesarios mientras persistan condiciones adversas.

Aunque hasta el momento no se ha informado de manera oficial sobre personas lesionadas, las autoridades mantienen el monitoreo de las condiciones y la atención de los reportes que puedan surgir como consecuencia de las lluvias.

El operativo permanecerá activo mientras exista riesgo de nuevas precipitaciones y tormentas en la región, particularmente ante el pronóstico de que las condiciones de inestabilidad continúen durante las próximas horas.
