Se han reportado numerosas inundaciones y el desbordamiento de varios ríos, lo que ha provocado daños significativos en viviendas, comercios e infraestructuras.
Las autoridades locales y los equipos de emergencia trabajan arduamente para atender las áreas más afectadas y brindar apoyo a los residentes.
Se recomienda a la población mantenerse informada a través de los canales oficiales y seguir las indicaciones de las autoridades para garantizar su seguridad.

Cuichapa, Ver.- El presidente municipal de Cuichapa, Fernando Hernández Martínez, manifestó su respaldo a la gobernadora de Veracruz, Rocío Nahle García, ante los recientes señalamientos difundidos en el ámbito público.
El alcalde expresó su solidaridad con la mandataria estatal y sostuvo que las acusaciones deben estar sustentadas en pruebas, al tiempo que llamó a mantener el debate público dentro del respeto y el marco legal.
En el documento, Hernández Martínez reconoció la trayectoria de Nahle García y señaló que Veracruz enfrenta retos que requieren coordinación entre los distintos niveles de gobierno para atender las necesidades de la población.
El edil también defendió la libertad de expresión, la transparencia y la rendición de cuentas como elementos fundamentales de la vida democrática.
Sin embargo, consideró que las diferencias políticas deben dirimirse mediante argumentos y no a través de ataques personales o familiares.
“Gobernadora Rocío Nahle García, le expreso mi solidaridad, respeto y respaldo”, expresó el presidente municipal en el manifiesto, en el que también refrendó su compromiso de trabajar desde Cuichapa por el desarrollo del municipio y del estado.
Hernández Martínez señaló que el servicio público debe mantenerse enfocado en la atención ciudadana, independientemente de las diferencias políticas, y planteó la necesidad de privilegiar el diálogo y la coordinación institucional.
El pronunciamiento concluye con un llamado a que la verdad y la responsabilidad prevalezcan en el debate público, así como a mantener el trabajo por Veracruz como una prioridad.

Amatlán de los Reyes, Ver.- La Policía Municipal de Amatlán de los Reyes ya cuenta con armamento, luego de permanecer desarmada desde mayo de 2022, cuando la Fuerza Civil asumió el control de la seguridad pública y retiró las armas a los elementos locales.
La recuperación del equipo representa un cambio para la corporación, que desde su regreso a las calles, en agosto de 2024, realizaba labores de vigilancia sin armas de fuego, mientras el Ayuntamiento efectuaba gestiones ante las autoridades estatales y federales para resolver la situación.
El retiro del armamento ocurrió cuando la Fuerza Civil, adscrita a la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública de Veracruz, tomó el control de la seguridad en el municipio.
En ese momento, los policías municipales fueron desarmados y la corporación estatal quedó a cargo de las tareas de vigilancia.
Dos años después, el 10 de agosto de 2024, la Policía Municipal retomó el servicio tras la salida de la Fuerza Civil. Sin embargo, los elementos regresaron sin las armas que utilizaban antes de la intervención, un problema que continuó durante la administración municipal anterior y los primeros meses del actual gobierno.
En febrero de 2025, el entonces alcalde Luis Arturo Figueroa Vargas reconoció que la corporación llevaba seis meses sin armamento y que mantenía comunicación con la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública para buscar una solución.
La falta de equipo persistió durante 2026. En marzo, reportes periodísticos señalaron que la corporación contaba con 17 elementos, dos patrullas en condiciones limitadas y carecía de armas y chalecos antibalas.
En junio pasado, la alcaldesa Guillermina Méndez López informó que se encontraban en trámite las gestiones para dotar de armamento a los policías municipales, al precisar que el procedimiento requería autorizaciones de instancias estatales y federales.
Con la disponibilidad de armas, la corporación deja atrás una de las principales limitaciones que enfrentaba para realizar sus funciones.

El evento, titulado “Raíces, saberes y memoria de nuestro pueblo”, se realizó en el Telebachillerato de la localidad y reunió a autoridades municipales, escuelas y vecinos del municipio. La presidenta municipal de Amatlán de los Reyes, Guillermina Méndez López, asistió acompañada de integrantes del Cabildo. También estuvieron presentes los directores de Cultura, Educación y Desarrollo Social, el coordinador de Pueblos Indígenas y el supervisor escolar de Telebachilleratos de la Zona Córdoba, Rogelio Gamboa Dorantes.
Por parte de las comunidades participaron Eduardo Monsalvo Serrano, agente municipal de Cacahuatal; Lina Díaz Flores, agente municipal de Fraternidad, y Roberta Reyes Corona, agente municipal de Venta Parada.
El encuentro contó además con la participación de la comunidad educativa de la zona. Estuvieron Guadalupe Monserrat Vásquez Báez, directora de la Primaria “Álvaro Obregón”; Lilia Álvarez Martínez, directora de la Telesecundaria “Gregorio Torres Quintero”; Mariana Peña Veranza, coordinadora del Telebachillerato de Cacahuatal, y el personal del Jardín de Niños “Leopoldo Rodríguez Calderón”.

El Ayuntamiento agradeció a las instituciones educativas, a las autoridades y a la ciudadanía su participación. Destacó que preservar las raíces y compartir los saberes de los pueblos fortalece la memoria y el sentido de pertenencia de niñas, niños y jóvenes.
