Veracruz, Ver.— La interacción entre la vaguada del suroeste del Golfo de México y el disturbio tropical 90E ha generado un marcado incremento de nubosidad y lluvias generalizadas en gran parte del estado, con tormentas eléctricas y fuertes rachas de viento que afectan principalmente al norte de la entidad.

El Sistema de Alerta Temprana (SIATVER) mantiene activa la Alerta Gris debido a los posibles efectos de este fenómeno, que podrían provocar crecidas en ríos y arroyos, así como deslizamientos de tierra en zonas serranas.

De acuerdo con el Centro de Estudios y Pronósticos Meteorológicos de Protección Civil, las lluvias persistentes han saturado los suelos en municipios del norte y de las Altas Montañas, incrementando el riesgo de procesos de remoción en masa.

Las autoridades exhortaron a la población a mantenerse informada, evitar cruzar corrientes de agua y reportar cualquier situación de emergencia.
El disturbio 90E continúa desplazándose lentamente sobre el Golfo de México, con potencial de desarrollo ciclónico en las próximas horas.

Veracruz, Ver.- Las condiciones meteorológicas favorecerán un incremento en el potencial de lluvias y tormentas en gran parte del estado de Veracruz durante las siguientes 24 horas, informó la Secretaría de Protección Civil estatal mediante un Aviso Especial.

De acuerdo con el reporte, la vaguada ubicada sobre el suroeste del Golfo de México dejó de interactuar con la onda tropical número 19, cuyo eje se localiza la mañana de este miércoles al sur de la zona centro de Guerrero y mantiene un desplazamiento hacia el oeste.

No obstante, las autoridades señalaron que la divergencia del viento en niveles altos de la atmósfera se ha fortalecido, condición que favorece el desarrollo de nubes de gran crecimiento vertical y, con ello, la probabilidad de precipitaciones de mayor intensidad.

El pronóstico indica que las lluvias podrían estar acompañadas de actividad eléctrica, rachas fuertes de viento y caída de granizo en distintos puntos de la entidad.

Asimismo, no se descarta la formación eventual de torbellinos en zonas donde se presenten tormentas de fuerte desarrollo.

Protección Civil recomendó a la población mantenerse atenta a las actualizaciones del pronóstico y tomar precauciones ante posibles afectaciones, como encharcamientos, inundaciones urbanas, crecida de ríos y arroyos de respuesta rápida, así como deslaves en regiones montañosas.

También pidió extremar cuidados por la posible caída de árboles, ramas, anuncios y otros objetos debido a las rachas de viento.

Las autoridades exhortaron a evitar cruzar corrientes de agua, conducir con precaución durante las lluvias y resguardarse en caso de actividad eléctrica.

De acuerdo con el pronóstico, a partir de los próximos días se prevé un cambio en los patrones meteorológicos que favorecerá una disminución gradual de las precipitaciones en territorio veracruzano, aunque las condiciones seguirán siendo monitoreadas por las dependencias correspondientes.

Protección Civil reiteró el llamado a seguir la información emitida por fuentes oficiales y atender las recomendaciones preventivas para reducir riesgos durante este periodo de inestabilidad atmosférica.

Veracruz primero en muerte de periodistas

Xalapa, Ver.- Entre 2001 y 2026 se han asesinado en México a 175 periodistas y Veracruz ocupa el primer lugar en decesos, según información de Artículo 19.

Los sexenios en donde se asesinaron más reporteros fueron en los de Felipe Calderón con 48; seguidos del de Enrique Peña Nieto y Andrés Manuel López Obrador, con 47 casos cada uno; en Vicente Fox fueron 27 asesinado y, en lo que va del gobierno piso del gobierno morenista con Claudia Sheinbaum, 11 periodistas.

Pero en cuanto al número de periodistas asesinado por estados, resultó que Veracruz se coronó con el primer lugar a registrar un total de 34 decesos, entre 2001-2026; de allí Guerrero con 19; Oaxaca y Chihuahua con 15 cada uno; Tamaulipas con 13; Sonora con 10 decesos; Michoacán con ocho, por mencionar algunos.

Aun más, en 2026 se registraron tres periodistas asesinados en México. La cifra se ubicó por debajo de 2025, cuando fueron 7 y de 2022, año con el mayor registro del periodo mostrado 13 casos.

De los 175 periodistas asesinados desde 2001, 162 fueron hombres y 13 mujeres. En el sexenio de Claudia Sheinbaum se registran 10 hombres y 1 mujer periodista asesinados.

Asimismo, reportes periodísticos, han dado seguimiento a este tema, y en lo que va de 2026 Veracruz ya registró tres periodistas asesinados.

En lo que va de 2026, el estado de Veracruz registra tres periodistas asesinados: Carlos Leonardo Ramírez Castro, director de Código Norte Veracruz, fue asesinado a balazos el 08 de enero en Poza Rica,

Luis Ángel López Valdés, reportero de Vanguardia, asesinado el 11 de junio en la misma ciudad de Poza Rica.

Y, recientemente, Roxana Guzmán, directora de Pulso Informativo del Sureste, (Nanchital), quien fue secuestrada por sujetos armados que irrumpieron en su domicilio el 2 de junio y su cuerpo fue localizado a finales de ese mes en un rancho del municipio de Moloacán. Por este caso, las autoridades confirmaron la detención de ocho personas, incluidos elementos de la policía municipal.

Xalapa, Ver.- Si bien para la segunda quincena de julio se prevé un ambiente cálido superior al promedio y lluvias ligeramente inferior a lo normal; las lluvias estarán presentes toda la semana de moderadas a fuertes, según reportes de la Secretaría de Protección Civil (SPC) del Estado.

Una vaguada sobre el suroeste del Golfo de México, apoyada por viento en altura, continuará favoreciendo durante el resto de la semana el desarrollo de tormentas eléctricas, acompañadas por descargas eléctricas, rachas de viento fuertes, probables granizadas y, de forma aislada, posibles torbellinos, así como lluvias ligeras a moderadas con eventos localmente fuertes.

Se esperan acumulados de 5 a 20 milímetros (mm) en promedio en la entidad y máximos de 20 a 50 mm, especialmente en las partes altas de las cuencas del Papaloapan al Tonalá.

Y para el jueves, las precitaciones se incrementarán un poco más, debido al avance de la onda tropical número19, cuyo eje se localiza esta mañana sobre y al sur de la Península de Yucatán.

Se prevén máximos de 70 a 100 mm entre las cuencas de La Antigua al Papaloapan y de 20 a 50 mm en el resto del estado.

Para el viernes aminora ligeramente, con lluvias de los 20 mm a 50 mm como máximos, especialmente en las partes altas de las cuencas del Papaloapan al Tonalá.

El viento será de componente Norte, Noreste, Este y Sureste de 20 a 35 kilómetros por hora (km/h), con rachas de 45 km/h en las costas y mayores en zonas de tormentas; así como ambiente relativamente caluroso.
Asimismo, la perspectiva meteorológica, según modelos, indicaron que a partir del sábado, las lluvias serán en general ligeras a moderadas, con algunos eventos localmente fuertes.
