DIF impulsa campaña de cirugías oftalmológicas gratuitas
Recepción de documentos del 12 al 16 de este mes
Córdoba, Ver. – Con el objetivo de contribuir a la salud visual de la población y mejorar su calidad de vida, el Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (SMDIF) en colaboración con el Centro Educativo Indígena A.C pone en marcha la Campaña de Cirugías Oftalmológicas Gratuitas, dirigida a personas que presentan diversos padecimientos visuales y que requieren atención médica especializada.
La presidenta del Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, Carolina Mendívil de Alonso, destacó que esta campaña forma parte de las acciones permanentes para garantizar el acceso a servicios de salud, priorizando a los sectores que más lo necesitan y promoviendo una atención digna y oportuna para la ciudadanía.
La campaña contempla cirugías relacionadas con cataratas, estrabismo dacriopatía (vía lagrimal) y ptosis palpebral.
Estas intervenciones están dirigidas al público en general.
Sin embargo, en el caso específico de la cirugía de cataratas, es requisito indispensable que las personas solicitantes no cuenten con ningún tipo de seguridad social, como IMSS, ISSSTE u otro sistema similar.
La recepción de documentos se llevará a cabo a partir del 12 al 16 de enero de 2026 en el área de Trabajo Social, en un horario de 8:00 de la mañana a 4:00 de la tarde en la calle 13, avenida 11 esquina No. 910. Para mayor información o aclaración de dudas al teléfono 271 712 11 40 extensión 109.
El Sistema Municipal DIF recibirá a las personas interesadas en participar en esta campaña.
Para ello, las y los solicitantes deberán presentar los siguientes requisitos en copia: INE, CURP y comprobante de domicilio.

Córdoba, Ver.- Ante el inicio del periodo vacacional de verano, la Unidad Municipal de Protección Civil de Córdoba llamó a la población a reforzar las medidas de prevención tanto en los hogares como durante los traslados por carretera, con el propósito de disminuir riesgos y prevenir accidentes.
El titular de la dependencia, Carlos Humberto Mendoza Aguilar, señaló que una de las principales recomendaciones para quienes saldrán de viaje es verificar las condiciones mecánicas de sus vehículos antes de emprender el recorrido, poniendo especial atención en llantas, sistema de frenos y demás elementos de seguridad.
Asimismo, recomendó realizar los desplazamientos durante el día, ya que esto facilita la atención en caso de alguna avería o emergencia en carretera y reduce los riesgos asociados a la conducción nocturna.
En cuanto a la seguridad de las viviendas, Protección Civil sugirió cerrar el suministro de gas, desconectar aparatos eléctricos que no sean indispensables, apagar las luces y asegurar puertas y ventanas antes de abandonar el domicilio. Además, pidió que, de ser posible, se informe a un vecino de confianza sobre la ausencia de los propietarios para que pueda reportar cualquier situación inusual a las autoridades.
Para las familias que permanecerán en casa durante las vacaciones, la dependencia hizo énfasis en mantener productos químicos y sustancias peligrosas fuera del alcance de niñas y niños. También exhortó a evitar almacenar cloro, thinner u otros líquidos en envases de refresco o bebidas, ya que podrían ser confundidos e ingeridos de manera accidental.
Protección Civil informó además que continuará el monitoreo permanente de las condiciones meteorológicas, debido a que durante los próximos días persistirá el pronóstico de lluvias vespertinas y nocturnas en la región.
Como parte de estas acciones, personal de la dependencia mantiene vigilancia en los ríos San Antonio y Seco, considerados afluentes de respuesta rápida, cuyos niveles pueden incrementarse en poco tiempo debido a los escurrimientos provocados por las precipitaciones.
Hasta el momento, las autoridades municipales indicaron que no se han registrado desbordamientos en estos cuerpos de agua y señalaron que las lluvias recientes han favorecido el arrastre de residuos y la limpieza natural del cauce del río San Antonio.
La dependencia reiteró el llamado a la ciudadanía para mantenerse informada a través de los canales oficiales y atender las recomendaciones preventivas durante este periodo vacacional, especialmente en caso de lluvias intensas o traslados por carretera.

Concluye evaluación de proyectos para integrar el Primer Consejo Municipal de la Juventud de Córdoba
Participan 10 jóvenes
Córdoba, Ver.. – El Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, a través del Instituto Municipal de la Juventud (IMJUVE), en coordinación con la Regiduría Tercera, la Secretaría Municipal y la Agenda 2030, concluyó la etapa de evaluación de proyectos correspondientes a la convocatoria para integrar el Primer Consejo Municipal de la Juventud.
Este es un órgano de participación ciudadana donde 10 jóvenes de distintas partes de la ciudad realizarán proyectos en beneficio de las juventudes de Córdoba y de la comunidad en general.
La convocatoria, publicada a finales de mayo, permitió a las y los participantes presentar un proyecto enfocado en el desarrollo de las juventudes del municipio mediante un registro de documentación personal, una carta de exposición de motivos por los cuales deseaban participar, y una propuesta alineada a temas como tecnología, innovación, bienestar mental, deporte, cultura, derechos humanos y otros ejes vinculados con los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030.
Durante el periodo de recepción se registraron 18 proyectos, los cuales fueron analizados por un jurado evaluador con base en los criterios y puntajes previamente establecidos en la convocatoria. Los resultados finales para integrar el Consejo se presentarán a más tardar el viernes 17 de julio.
Este proyecto, que cuenta con el respaldo del presidente municipal Manuel Alonso Cerezo, busca fortalecer la participación ciudadana, el liderazgo juvenil y la generación de propuestas que contribuyan al desarrollo de Córdoba. Esta iniciativa se pretende extender a lo largo del año para dar seguimiento a los diferentes proyectos impulsados por las juventudes, trabajando con las distintas áreas del Ayuntamiento para apoyar las necesidades correspondientes de cada propuesta.
La toma de protesta del Primer Consejo Municipal de la Juventud se encuentra programada para el próximo viernes 7 de agosto, alrededor de las 11:00 horas, fecha en la que las y los jóvenes seleccionados se presentarán en un acto protocolario para dar inicio formal a la conformación del Consejo y comenzar con las iniciativas.
Con estas acciones, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba reafirma su compromiso de impulsar espacios de participación para las nuevas generaciones, así como el compromiso social de brindar herramientas que ayuden a construir un mejor futuro para el municipio.

Córdoba, Ver.- El Ayuntamiento de Córdoba condenó el asesinato de un elemento de la Corporación de Tránsito Municipal y expresó sus condolencias a familiares, amigos y compañeros del servidor público, al calificar el hecho como un acto de violencia inaceptable contra quienes desempeñan labores en beneficio de la ciudadanía.
A través de un comunicado oficial, el gobierno municipal informó que mantiene coordinación con las autoridades responsables de la procuración de justicia para el esclarecimiento del caso y reiteró que continuará fortaleciendo el trabajo conjunto con las corporaciones de seguridad estatales y federales.
El elemento fallecido fue identificado como Gustavo Ramírez Martínez, conocido como “El Chocorrol”, quien anteriormente se desempeñó como delegado de Tránsito en Fortín de las Flores y actualmente formaba parte de la corporación de Tránsito Municipal de Córdoba.
El ataque armado ocurrió alrededor de las 13:20 horas sobre la avenida 4, entre calles 13 y 15, en la zona centro de Córdoba, cuando el oficial conducía una patrulla de la corporación.
Sujetos armados le dispararon en repetidas ocasiones antes de darse a la fuga.
Paramédicos de la Cruz Roja acudieron al lugar para brindarle atención médica; sin embargo, confirmaron que el agente ya no presentaba signos vitales.
Posteriormente, elementos de seguridad acordonaron el área, mientras personal de la Fiscalía General del Estado realizó las diligencias e inició la carpeta de investigación correspondiente.
