DIF impulsa campaña de cirugías oftalmológicas gratuitas
Recepción de documentos del 12 al 16 de este mes
Córdoba, Ver. – Con el objetivo de contribuir a la salud visual de la población y mejorar su calidad de vida, el Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (SMDIF) en colaboración con el Centro Educativo Indígena A.C pone en marcha la Campaña de Cirugías Oftalmológicas Gratuitas, dirigida a personas que presentan diversos padecimientos visuales y que requieren atención médica especializada.
La presidenta del Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, Carolina Mendívil de Alonso, destacó que esta campaña forma parte de las acciones permanentes para garantizar el acceso a servicios de salud, priorizando a los sectores que más lo necesitan y promoviendo una atención digna y oportuna para la ciudadanía.
La campaña contempla cirugías relacionadas con cataratas, estrabismo dacriopatía (vía lagrimal) y ptosis palpebral.
Estas intervenciones están dirigidas al público en general.
Sin embargo, en el caso específico de la cirugía de cataratas, es requisito indispensable que las personas solicitantes no cuenten con ningún tipo de seguridad social, como IMSS, ISSSTE u otro sistema similar.
La recepción de documentos se llevará a cabo a partir del 12 al 16 de enero de 2026 en el área de Trabajo Social, en un horario de 8:00 de la mañana a 4:00 de la tarde en la calle 13, avenida 11 esquina No. 910. Para mayor información o aclaración de dudas al teléfono 271 712 11 40 extensión 109.
El Sistema Municipal DIF recibirá a las personas interesadas en participar en esta campaña.
Para ello, las y los solicitantes deberán presentar los siguientes requisitos en copia: INE, CURP y comprobante de domicilio.

Atiende Salud Animal más de 300 reportes ciudadanos en Córdoba durante 2026
En la reunión también se dieron a conocer avances en la elaboración del Reglamento de Salud Animal
Córdoba, Ver.- Durante los primeros cinco meses de 2026, la Jefatura de Salud Animal de Córdoba recibió 316 reportes ciudadanos relacionados con maltrato, abandono y atención de mascotas, de los cuales 279 ya fueron resueltos y 37 permanecen en proceso, informó la dependencia durante la Primera Sesión Ordinaria del Consejo Consultivo de Salud Animal.
En la reunión también se dieron a conocer avances en la elaboración del Reglamento de Salud Animal y una propuesta de boleta de multas que busca sancionar conductas que vulneren el bienestar de perros y gatos en el municipio.
De acuerdo con el informe presentado, las acciones de prevención y atención veterinaria han permitido aplicar 161 dosis de desparasitación y mil 473 vacunas antirrábicas en colonias y comunidades de Córdoba, además de concretar 48 adopciones de animales rescatados.
Autoridades municipales señalaron que actualmente alrededor de 40 perros y gatos permanecen bajo resguardo en espera de ser adoptados, mientras continúan las campañas de concientización en escuelas para fomentar la tenencia responsable de mascotas.
Otro de los temas abordados fue la atención al gusano barrenador, enfermedad de la que se han registrado 34 casos en lo que va del año. Ante esta situación, personal de Salud Animal ha reforzado las actividades informativas dirigidas a propietarios de animales para prevenir nuevos contagios.
Durante la sesión también se anunció la realización del “Gatotón”, una jornada gratuita de esterilización programada para el próximo 26 de julio en las canchas de El Mexicano, donde se pretende atender hasta 500 gatos machos. Además, se planteó la necesidad de adquirir un horno crematorio y un quirófano móvil para fortalecer los servicios del Centro de Salud Animal.
Los integrantes del consejo coincidieron en la importancia de consolidar un marco normativo que permita reforzar la protección de los animales y atender de manera más eficiente las denuncias ciudadanas relacionadas con su cuidado y bienestar.

Llega a Córdoba el evento Rutas Escénicas y Arte Itinerante: Cultura Viva
Esta iniciativa se desarrolla en coordinación con la Dirección de Bienestar Social municipal
Córdoba, Ver., – Como parte de las acciones impulsadas por la Secretaría de Cultura de Veracruz (SECVER), este jueves se inauguró el programa “Rutas Escénicas y Arte Itinerante: Cultura Viva”.
Esta iniciativa se desarrolla en coordinación con la Dirección de Bienestar Social municipal, a través de su Jefatura de Cultura, y tuvo como primera sede la escuela primaria Francisco I. Madero, donde la comunidad estudiantil participó en diversas actividades artísticas y culturales.
La ceremonia de inauguración estuvo presidida por María del Carmen Verdugo, responsable del recinto cultural del Ágora y directora del programa de Rutas Itinerantes, quien representó a la secretaria de Cultura de Veracruz,
María Xóchitl Molina González; Manuel Méndez Avendaño, enlace de la dependencia estatal; las regidoras María Ángela Ordinola Camarillo (primera), Glorisel Ixmatlahua Rodríguez (tercera) y Nhesma Faride Telis Arano (séptima); Dennis Araceli Lira Tosqui, coordinadora de Bienestar Social; Juan Torio García, coordinador de Desarrollo Económico; Raúl Tovar Gutiérrez, jefe de Cultura; y Patricia Martínez Ordóñez, directora del plantel educativo.
Durante el encuentro, María del Carmen Verdugo ofreció un mensaje de bienvenida en el que agradeció a la institución educativa y a las autoridades municipales por la colaboración para hacer posible este evento. Asimismo, invitó a los alumnos y a la comunidad a sumarse a estas iniciativas para seguir fomentando el arte en la región.
Por su parte, Dennis Araceli Lira Tosqui expresó la importancia de mantener estas alianzas institucionales en beneficio de las infancias y juventudes de la ciudad.
Finalmente, Juan Torio García, en representación del presidente municipal Manuel Alonso Cerezo, inauguró formalmente la jornada para dar inicio a los talleres artísticos.
A través de un enfoque multidisciplinario, los alumnos participaron en las aulas en talleres de pintura a lápiz, danza, dinámicas con paracaídas, matrioskas, sensibilidad y abstracción, lotería chinanteca, apreciación cinematográfica, cuentacuentos y son jarocho tradicional.
Estas actividades lúdicas, participativas y formativas buscan propiciar experiencias de aprendizaje que fortalezcan la creatividad, la apreciación cultural y el desarrollo de habilidades expresivas en la niñez.
Posteriormente, la comunidad estudiantil se trasladó al teatro Pedro Díaz para continuar con el programa.
Ahí disfrutaron de una puesta en escena a cargo del colectivo Juglares, una muestra audiovisual con cortometrajes coordinados por Felipe Sahidt Ortega Ibarra y una función de cine especialmente seleccionada para su edad.
Con este tipo de encuentros, la Secretaría de Cultura de Veracruz, respaldada por el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, refrenda su compromiso de acercar las expresiones artísticas a las infancias de la región, promoviendo entornos que fortalezcan la participación y el desarrollo cultural de la comunidad estudiantil.

Su labor permitió difundir el valor del patrimonio cafetalero de Córdoba
Córdoba, Ver.–La Jefatura de Turismo, en representación del Museo del Café de Córdoba, participó en la 1ra competencia Regional de Arte Latte y Coctelería Sur-Sureste, realizada en el Poliforum Mier y Pesado de Orizaba, donde acercó a los visitantes a la cultura y tradición cafetalera que distingue a la región.
Durante el evento, las baristas del Museo del Café compartieron con el público diversos métodos de extracción, explicando las características y particularidades de cada técnica para resaltar los aromas y sabores de esta bebida emblemática.
Asimismo, realizaron demostraciones en vivo que permitieron a los asistentes conocer más sobre el arte, la preparación y la técnica que intervienen en la elaboración de una excelente taza de café.
La participación estuvo encabezada por Rita Martínez Ramírez, representante del Museo del Café de Córdoba, quien promovió la riqueza histórica, cultural y productiva del café cordobés, fortaleciendo la presencia del municipio en uno de los encuentros más importantes del sector en la región.
Su labor permitió difundir el valor del patrimonio cafetalero de Córdoba y estrechar vínculos con productores, especialistas y visitantes interesados en la cultura del café.
A través del estand, también se difundió información turística sobre Córdoba, Veracruz, promoviendo sus atractivos históricos, culturales y su importante legado cafetalero.
Los visitantes conocieron más sobre la riqueza de este municipio, reconocido a nivel nacional por su contribución a la producción y difusión de la cultura del café.
De esta manera, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, a través de la Jefatura de Turismo y del Museo del Café, reafirmó su compromiso con la promoción turística, cultural y económica del municipio, impulsando espacios que contribuyen a preservar y difundir la tradición cafetalera cordobesa.
