Parquímetros, ‘caja chica’ de empresarios

Cordoba, Ver. – Un minúsculo grupo de empresarios se han apoderado de miles de pesos que diariamente entran al fideicomiso por el uso de los parquímetros, sin que la sociedad cordobesa se vea beneficiada.

Desde su creación, con el ex alcalde Tomás Ríos Bernal, el dinero que automovilistas pagan para poder estacionarse en la vía pública es utilizado a comodidad de los empresarios, principalmente los ubicados en el Centro de Córdoba.

Hasta un millón de pesos mensuales suelen recaudar los aparatos ubicados en calles estratégicas, sin embargo, hasta ahora, el dinero sólo ha sido utilizado para componer las banquetas pese a que, en su momento, se dijo que harían obra pública de prioridad.

En entrevista, la alcaldesa Leticia López Landero confirmó que hasta ahora Ramón Romano presidente del Fideicomiso no ha rendido cuentas claras  a la actual administración para ejecutar proyectos importantes.

Son 30 millones de pesos que tienen en cuentas bancarias, pero no quieren hacer uso de él, a pesar de que la administración municipal solicitó el apoyo para ejecutar algunas obras de impacto colectivo.

“Se negaron a aportar recursos para obras como la del mercado Revolución, la compra del Cine Olimpia para edificar un Auditorio Municipal, la adquisición de un hospital para convertirlo en un Centro de Rehabilitación Infantil, entre otros proyectos”, aclaró.

La alcaldesa recordó que este fideicomiso fue creado por la administración de Tomás Ríos Bernal, y quedó en manos de empresarios, quienes deciden qué hacer con los recursos que provienen de los parquímetros instalados en la ciudad.

Córdoba, Ver.– La riqueza natural de Córdoba comienza a abrirse paso como una alternativa más para el turismo, con la puesta en marcha de un recorrido de avistamiento de aves en la zona del Río San Antonio.

La primera experiencia de aviturismo se llevará a cabo este viernes 14 de agosto, como resultado del trabajo conjunto entre el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba y el grupo Aves en Libertad Aviturismo Comunitario, que previamente exploró y delimitó la ruta.

El recorrido estará encabezado por Gabriel Hernández Rincón, técnico y observador de aves, quien acompañará a los participantes durante una caminata de aproximadamente dos horas.

A lo largo del trayecto, los asistentes podrán identificar distintas especies de aves, conocer parte de la vegetación y observar la biodiversidad que se concentra en los alrededores del río San Antonio.

La intención es que esta ruta no se limite al avistamiento de aves, sino que pueda convertirse en un punto de partida para desarrollar nuevas actividades vinculadas con el turismo de naturaleza y comunitario.

Córdoba cuenta con diversos espacios naturales que en los últimos años han comenzado a ser considerados para generar alternativas de recreación y turismo, además de los recorridos que ya han sido identificados en otras zonas del municipio.

Con esta iniciativa se busca acercar a habitantes y visitantes a la riqueza ambiental de la región, bajo una perspectiva de respeto y conservación de los ecosistemas.

El recorrido también representa una oportunidad para promover el conocimiento de la flora y fauna local y generar mayor interés por la protección de los espacios naturales que forman parte del entorno de Córdoba.

Córdoba, Ver..- Con la finalidad de facilitar el acceso a servicios de salud visual y brindar una opción económica para el cuidado de la vista, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, a través de la Jefatura de Salud Municipal, realizará una Jornada de Salud Visual en coordinación con Óptica de las Altas Montañas.

Cabe mencionar que, durante esta jornada, la ciudadanía podrá acceder a exámenes de la vista totalmente gratuitos, así como a lentes completos desde 300 pesos, que incluyen armazón y micas graduadas. Además, se contará con variedad de armazones y entrega inmediata.

De esta manera; la atención será del miércoles 26 al sábado 29 de agosto; lunes 31 de agosto; y del miércoles 2 al viernes 4 de septiembre, en un horario de 9:00 de la mañana a 2:00 de la tarde, disponible en las oficinas de la Jefatura de Salud Municipal, ubicadas en los bajos del Palacio Municipal, donde personal especializado brindará la atención correspondiente.

Con estas acciones, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba refrenda su compromiso de acercar servicios que contribuyan al cuidado de la salud y al bienestar de las familias cordobesas, ofreciendo alternativas accesibles para el cuidado de la vista.

Córdoba recibirá a figuras del frontenis en torneo nacional

Córdoba, Ver.- Campeones mundiales y panamericanos llegarán a Córdoba para participar en el Torneo Nacional de Frontenis, competencia que se desarrollará del 21 al 23 de agosto y que reunirá a jugadores de alto nivel provenientes de distintas partes del país.

La justa tendrá como escenarios las canchas del Club Campestre Cordobés y el Club Casino Español, donde durante tres días se disputarán encuentros en diferentes categorías, desde Primera Fuerza hasta divisiones de veteranos.

De acuerdo con los organizadores, el torneo contempla las categorías Primera Fuerza Varonil y Femenil, Segunda Fuerza Varonil, Veteranos 50+, Veteranos 60+ y PROAM, por lo que se espera una amplia participación de jugadores.

Uno de los principales atractivos será la presencia de deportistas que han destacado en competencias internacionales, lo que permitirá al público cordobés observar en acción a exponentes de primer nivel.

La competencia contará además con una bolsa de premios de 150 mil pesos, como incentivo para los participantes.

Durante la presentación del torneo, el presidente municipal Manuel Alonso Cerezo destacó que la realización de eventos deportivos contribuye a mantener el movimiento turístico de la ciudad, particularmente durante agosto, cuando se han programado diversas actividades.

El alcalde señaló que la llegada de competidores y acompañantes representa también una oportunidad para hoteles, restaurantes y comercios locales, debido al flujo de visitantes que generan este tipo de encuentros.

Por su parte, Oscar Jahir Trujeque Cepeda, integrante del comité organizador, reconoció las facilidades otorgadas para llevar el torneo a Córdoba y destacó la disposición de los clubes que serán sede.

Los partidos se realizarán durante viernes, sábado y domingo, y el acceso para el público será gratuito, por lo que los aficionados podrán acudir a presenciar los encuentros y conocer de cerca a algunos de los mejores exponentes del frontenis nacional.
