Córdoba, Ver. – La persistente ola de calor que afecta al país desde hace algunas semanas podría acarrear consecuencias significativas en los recibos de luz.
El bochorno impulsa la adquisición de dispositivos como ventiladores o aires acondicionados, lo que a su vez aumentaría el gasto energético y, por ende, la factura eléctrica.
Los precios podrían incrementarse hasta en un 50% en comparación con los niveles normales.
Ante esta perspectiva, la CFE emitió un comunicado exhortando a la población a hacer un uso responsable de la electricidad para preservar el medio ambiente y evitar aumentos en los costos de energía.
Además, ofreció una serie de recomendaciones para enfrentar de manera efectiva la temporada de calor.
En cuanto al uso de aires acondicionados, la comisión advierte que son los dispositivos que más energía consumen y ofrece sugerencias para optimizar su funcionamiento.
Recomienda instalarlos lejos de fuentes de calor y evitar la exposición directa al sol. Asimismo, sugiere ajustar la temperatura a 25 °C, ya que temperaturas más bajas implicarían un mayor consumo de energía.
Además, ofrece consejos adicionales, como aprovechar la luz natural, apagar luces innecesarias y desconectar dispositivos electrónicos en desuso, con el fin de reducir el consumo de energía.
Ciudad de México.- La Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) concluyó que las principales líneas de investigación sobre la muerte del diputado federal Zenyazen Roberto Escobar García apuntan a que se trató de un suicidio, ocurrido el pasado 4 de septiembre en la comunidad de La Gloria, municipio de Puente Nacional, Veracruz.
La determinación se da después de seis días de investigaciones en las que autoridades federales y estatales realizaron más de 150 actos ministeriales, inspecciones, entrevistas y peritajes para establecer qué ocurrió con el legislador veracruzano.
La FGR informó este jueves que en la investigación participaron especialistas en medicina, criminalística, balística, genética, química forense, lofoscopía, fotografía, informática, tránsito terrestre y toxicología, además de personal de la Agencia de Investigación Criminal y de la Fiscalía General del Estado de Veracruz.
De acuerdo con la dependencia federal, el análisis conjunto de los indicios encontrados, dictámenes, exámenes y testimonios recabados llevó a que las principales líneas de investigación coincidan en que la muerte de Escobar García fue por suicidio.
La Fiscalía, sin embargo, mantendrá abierta la investigación y no descarta otros móviles o líneas de investigación, por lo que el caso todavía no se considera cerrado.
Zenyazen Escobar García, quien se desempeñaba como diputado federal en funciones, murió el 4 de septiembre en La Gloria, hecho que llevó a la FGR a asumir la investigación por tratarse del fallecimiento de un legislador federal.
La dependencia señaló que continuará con las diligencias necesarias para esclarecer plenamente los hechos y que, de existir condiciones para ello, dará a conocer nuevos avances.

IMSS pide identificar señales de alerta para prevenir suicidios

Córdoba, Ver.- El aislamiento, los cambios repentinos de ánimo y las expresiones de desesperanza pueden ser señales de que una persona atraviesa una crisis emocional, por lo que identificarlas a tiempo y buscar ayuda profesional puede ser determinante para prevenir un intento de suicidio.
En el marco del Día Mundial para la Prevención del Suicidio, que se conmemora este 10 de septiembre, el IMSS Veracruz Sur llamó a familiares y personas cercanas a no ignorar este tipo de comportamientos y mantener una comunicación abierta con quienes pudieran estar enfrentando una situación emocional complicada.
La psicóloga clínica del Hospital General de Zona número 8, en Córdoba, Lila Paola Úbeda Sierra, señaló que hablar sobre el suicidio permite reducir los estigmas y facilita que quienes necesitan apoyo puedan solicitarlo.
Entre las señales que requieren atención se encuentran hablar de quitarse la vida o mencionar algún plan para hacerlo, expresar que no existe esperanza o que la vida no tiene sentido, sentirse una carga para los demás, alejarse de familiares y amistades, perder interés en actividades habituales, regalar objetos personales o despedirse de personas cercanas.
También deben considerarse como señales de alerta los antecedentes de autolesiones, lesiones recientes y cambios importantes en el estado de ánimo.
Ante estos comportamientos, la especialista recomendó escuchar sin juzgar, permanecer cerca de la persona y procurar que permanezca en un entorno seguro mientras se consigue atención profesional. La conducta suicida es considerada una urgencia médica y requiere intervención oportuna.
El IMSS dispone además del Servicio de Orientación Telefónica en Salud Mental, mediante el número 800 2222 668, opción 4, donde se brinda orientación psicológica, contención emocional y, cuando es necesario, canalización a los servicios de salud. El servicio funciona de lunes a domingo, de 7:00 a 23:00 horas.
La prevención, señaló la especialista, involucra a las familias, amistades, centros de trabajo y las instituciones, por lo que pidió tomar en serio cualquier señal que indique que una persona podría encontrarse en riesgo.
Córdoba, Ver.— Dos menores de edad fueron puestos bajo resguardo del Sistema Municipal DIF de Córdoba, luego de ser detectados en una situación de riesgo en la colonia Praderas de San Miguelito.
La intervención estuvo a cargo de la Procuraduría Municipal de Protección de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes, que activó los protocolos correspondientes para garantizar la integridad de los menores y trasladarlos a un espacio seguro.
En el operativo también participaron elementos de la Dirección Municipal de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana, quienes detuvieron a un hombre señalado como presunto responsable de los hechos.
Tras ser puestos a salvo, los menores recibieron atención médica y psicológica por parte del personal del DIF Córdoba, mientras la Procuraduría Municipal trabaja en la localización de familiares que sean considerados aptos para hacerse cargo de ellos.
El organismo informó que presentará la denuncia correspondiente ante la Fiscalía Especializada en la Investigación de Delitos de Violencia contra la Familia, Mujeres, Niñas y Niños y de Trata de Personas, instancia que será la encargada de realizar las investigaciones y determinar las responsabilidades legales.
La Procuraduría Municipal dará seguimiento al caso y continuará con el acompañamiento de los menores, priorizando en todo momento su seguridad y bienestar.
