Fallece médico tras derrumbe

Los Reyes, Ver.- Un derrumbe en la carretera federal 123 Orizaba–Zongolica cobró la vida del médico Carlos David Salazar Hernández, de 49 años, adscrito al Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) en Zongolica y vecino de Ciudad Mendoza, luego de que su vehículo quedara sepultado por una masa de tierra y piedras a la altura de la comunidad Cruz Verde, en el municipio de Los Reyes.

Según reportes preliminares, el deslave ocurrió durante la mañana, cuando la fuerte lluvia que azota la región provocó que un talud se desprendiera de la ladera del cerro, cayendo directamente sobre la unidad que conducía el galeno. Testigos indicaron que Salazar Hernández trató de avanzar a pesar de la visibilidad reducida y el mal tiempo, pero fue sorprendido por el colapso del terreno.

Habitantes de la zona alertaron a las autoridades a través de redes sociales, lo que permitió desplegar de inmediato equipos de emergencia. Elementos de rescate de Tequila, Los Reyes y Zongolica trabajaron varias horas entre lodo y rocas para liberar el vehículo, confirmando el fallecimiento del conductor en el lugar.

Hasta el momento, el IMSS no ha emitido un comunicado oficial, aunque fuentes locales confirmaron la identidad de la víctima. Las autoridades estatales y municipales hicieron un llamado a la población para evitar transitar por la vía Orizaba–Zongolica, especialmente en los tramos más propensos a deslaves y cierres parciales derivados de las intensas lluvias de los últimos días.

La carretera federal 123 se mantiene bajo monitoreo constante, ya que los cerros continúan inestables y existe riesgo de nuevos derrumbes. Equipos de Protección Civil realizan recorridos preventivos y mantienen alerta permanente en comunidades cercanas, buscando minimizar riesgos para conductores y habitantes.

El accidente resalta la vulnerabilidad de la región montañosa central de Veracruz ante eventos meteorológicos extremos, donde la combinación de lluvias intensas y pendientes pronunciadas puede derivar en derrumbes repentinos que ponen en peligro la vida de quienes transitan por estas carreteras.

Autoridades reiteraron la importancia de extremar precauciones, atender las recomendaciones oficiales y evitar circular por zonas de riesgo hasta que las condiciones se estabilicen.

Córdoba, Ver.- La mujer que resultó gravemente herida tras ser embestida por un motociclista frente a la Terminal de Autobuses de Córdoba (TAC) falleció durante la madrugada de este martes en el Hospital General de Córdoba, donde permanecía internada.

El accidente ocurrió la noche del lunes, cuando la víctima, de alrededor de 40 años, fue alcanzada por una motocicleta al intentar cruzar la vialidad.

El fuerte impacto le ocasionó lesiones de extrema gravedad, incluida la amputación de una de sus extremidades inferiores.

Tras la llamada de auxilio al número de emergencias 911, paramédicos de la Cruz Roja acudieron al sitio para estabilizar a la mujer y trasladarla de inmediato al hospital, donde ingresó en estado delicado.

Pese a los esfuerzos del personal médico, horas después se confirmó su fallecimiento debido a las heridas que presentaba.

El área del accidente fue resguardada por elementos de Tránsito y policías, mientras personal ministerial realizó las diligencias para integrar la investigación.

La Fiscalía Regional mantiene abierta la carpeta correspondiente para esclarecer cómo ocurrió el atropellamiento y determinar la situación legal del motociclista involucrado.

Taxista mata a motociclista en Orizaba

Orizaba, Ver.- La violencia vial volvió a cobrar una vida en Orizaba. Un motociclista falleció la mañana de este domingo luego de ser impactado por un taxi en el cruce de Norte 2 y avenida Cri-Cri, en un accidente que ya es investigado por las autoridades ministeriales.
De acuerdo con los primeros reportes, el percance ocurrió alrededor de las 6:00 horas, cuando el conductor de la motocicleta circulaba sobre la avenida Cri-Cri. Al llegar a la intersección con Norte 2 fue embestido por el taxi marcado con el número económico 122, cuyo operador presuntamente no respetó la preferencia de paso.
El golpe lanzó al motociclista varios metros, quedando tendido sobre el pavimento con lesiones de gravedad.
Tras el reporte al número de emergencias, paramédicos y corporaciones de auxilio acudieron al sitio; sin embargo, únicamente confirmaron que la víctima ya no contaba con signos vitales.
Elementos de la Policía Municipal y de la Policía Vial acordonaron la zona para preservar la escena, mientras peritos de la Fiscalía Regional realizaron las diligencias correspondientes. Posteriormente, el cuerpo fue trasladado al Servicio Médico Forense (Semefo), donde se espera su identificación oficial.
El conductor del taxi quedó a disposición de las autoridades competentes, quienes integran la carpeta de investigación para determinar las circunstancias del accidente y deslindar responsabilidades.
Este hecho ocurre apenas unos días después del fallecimiento de Danna Paola Echeverría Cruz, joven motociclista que murió tras permanecer hospitalizada a consecuencia de un choque registrado el pasado fin de semana en el centro de Orizaba, también en un accidente en el que estuvo involucrado un taxi. Su caso generó amplia conmoción luego de que su familia autorizó la donación de sus órganos.
Con este nuevo deceso, se registra el segundo accidente fatal entre motociclistas y unidades del servicio de alquiler en menos de una semana en Orizaba, lo que vuelve a poner bajo la lupa la seguridad vial y el respeto a las normas de tránsito en la ciudad.

Choque entre motocicletas deja dos lesionados en Fortín

Fortín, Ver.- Dos personas resultaron lesionadas la noche de este jueves tras un choque entre dos motocicletas registrado sobre el camino que conduce al recinto ferial, en el municipio de Fortín.

De acuerdo con los primeros reportes, el accidente ocurrió cuando uno de los motociclistas realizó un corte de circulación, provocando el impacto entre ambas unidades y dejando a sus ocupantes sobre la carpeta de rodamiento.

Tras el reporte al número de emergencias, al lugar arribaron paramédicos de Protección Civil Fortín y Cruz Ámbar Fortín, quienes brindaron atención prehospitalaria a los lesionados y posteriormente los trasladaron a un hospital para su valoración médica.

En las labores de auxilio también participaron integrantes de Rescatistas Primeros Respondientes y Bomberos Fortín A.C., quienes colaboraron en la atención de la emergencia y en el abanderamiento de la zona para evitar otro percance.

Las autoridades realizaron las diligencias correspondientes para determinar las causas del accidente y deslindar responsabilidades.
