Omealca, Ver.– Con el objetivo de fortalecer la producción frutícola en el municipio, el área de Fomento Agropecuario del Ayuntamiento de Omealca inició la venta de arbolitos de limón persa al público en general, informó su directora, Alejandra Martínez Villaraus.

La funcionaria detalló que en esta primera etapa se cuenta con un total de 500 plantas disponibles, las cuales tienen un costo de 25 pesos por unidad.

 Las personas interesadas pueden adquirir uno o varios ejemplares, de acuerdo con sus necesidades productivas, acudiendo directamente al área de Fomento Fomento Agropecuario.

Explicó que los arbolitos corresponden a la variedad conocida como limón persa “canario” y tienen una edad aproximada de tres meses, lo que permite su trasplante inmediato.

Añadió que esta variedad fue seleccionada de manera específica por su buena adaptación a las condiciones de la región.

Martínez Villaraus señaló que el limón persa es uno de los cultivos más utilizados en Omealca, particularmente en las zonas bajas del municipio, como Matatenatito, Río Moreno y comunidades cercanas, donde predominan los suelos arcillosos.

Indicó que este tipo de suelo favorece el desarrollo del árbol y permite obtener buenos rendimientos cuando se le brinda el manejo adecuado.

Precisó que la elección de esta variedad se realizó tras recibir solicitudes constantes de productores de la zona baja, quienes buscaban opciones viables de árboles frutales.

A partir de ello, el área a su cargo realizó la búsqueda de una planta que ofreciera mejores resultados productivos en el municipio.

En cuanto al tiempo de producción, la directora de Fomento Agropecuario explicó que el inicio de la cosecha depende del cuidado que se le otorgue a la planta; sin embargo, bajo condiciones adecuadas, el árbol puede comenzar a dar fruto entre el año y medio y los dos años posteriores a su siembra.

Asimismo, adelantó que este programa podría ampliarse en el futuro con la incorporación de otros árboles frutales como mango, naranja y lichi, dependiendo de la demanda y de la viabilidad para la región.

Finalmente, hizo un llamado a la ciudadanía y a los pequeños productores a aprovechar esta iniciativa, al tratarse de un cultivo con alta demanda y potencial productivo en Omealca.

Amatlán de los Reyes, Ver.— El recorrido de las reliquias de la Virgen de Guadalupe continúa en comunidades de Amatlán de los Reyes, luego de su paso por San Rafael Río Seco, donde fieles han participado en diversas actividades de oración y encuentro espiritual.

Tras su visita inicial, las reliquias fueron llevadas a la comunidad de Gardenias, donde también se registró la participación de habitantes en actos religiosos como parte de la Novena Intercontinental Guadalupana rumbo a los 500 años de las apariciones.

Posteriormente, regresaron a la capilla de San Rafael Arcángel, en San Rafael Río Seco, donde permanecerán durante todo el día en actividades de oración, permitiendo a los fieles acercarse y participar en este momento de devoción.

De acuerdo con organizadores, será hasta el día de mañana martes cuando las reliquias sean trasladadas a la comunidad de Santa Ana, donde continuará su recorrido por la región.

La presencia de las reliquias ha generado una importante participación de creyentes, quienes han acudido a lo largo del día para formar parte de las celebraciones religiosas.

El recorrido forma parte de una agenda que busca fortalecer la fe y mantener vivas las tradiciones guadalupanas entre las comunidades de Amatlán.

Amatlán de los Reyes, Ver.– A más tardar el próximo 29 de marzo se llevará a cabo la entrega de constancias de mayoría a quienes resultaron electos como agentes y subagentes municipales en este municipio.

De acuerdo con el secretario del Ayuntamiento, Misael Romero Flores, actualmente la Junta Municipal Electoral se encuentra en la etapa de revisión de resultados, así como en el periodo legal para la recepción de posibles impugnaciones.

Precisó que este plazo contempla cuatro días posteriores a la jornada electoral, por lo que será una vez concluido este proceso cuando los resultados sean turnados al Cabildo para su validación oficial.

El funcionario indicó que, tras cumplir con estos procedimientos, se procederá a la entrega de constancias a las autoridades electas, quienes asumirán funciones el próximo 1 de mayo.

Romero Flores agregó que la revisión de los votos, incluidos aquellos considerados nulos, forma parte del proceso establecido por la normatividad vigente, a fin de garantizar certeza en los resultados.

Paso del Macho, Ver.- El delegado de Tránsito Municipal, Gabino Pacheco Grajales, informó que en un plazo aproximado de 20 a 25 días concluirá el periodo de concientización dirigido a motociclistas, por lo que se iniciará la aplicación de sanciones a quienes incumplan con el uso obligatorio del casco de seguridad.

Explicó que durante 100 días las autoridades implementaron una campaña preventiva enfocada en promover la cultura vial y reducir riesgos entre conductores de motocicletas, priorizando la protección de la vida.

No obstante, ante la persistencia de omisiones, se dará paso a la fase de aplicación de la normativa vigente, en cumplimiento a las instrucciones del presidente municipal.

Precisó que las infracciones por no portar casco podrían oscilar entre los 900 y mil 500 pesos por persona.

Asimismo, se reforzará la vigilancia para garantizar el cumplimiento de disposiciones como el límite de ocupantes —máximo dos adultos por unidad— y la restricción para el traslado de menores de 12 años; en caso de que viajen adolescentes, deberán portar casco de manera obligatoria.

El funcionario subrayó que estas medidas no tienen un carácter recaudatorio, sino preventivo, ante los índices de siniestralidad registrados en el municipio.

Indicó que anteriormente se contabilizaban hasta ocho accidentes semanales relacionados con motocicletas, con un promedio de dos a tres decesos mensuales, cifras que han mostrado una disminución parcial derivada de las acciones de sensibilización.

Adicionalmente, adelantó que se contempla la implementación de talleres obligatorios para infractores, orientados a fortalecer conocimientos en materia de seguridad vial y conducción responsable.

De manera paralela, se exhortó a los usuarios a regularizar la documentación de sus unidades, ya que en etapas posteriores se ampliarán los operativos de verificación.

Finalmente, Tránsito Municipal reiteró el llamado a la ciudadanía a cumplir con las disposiciones establecidas, al enfatizar que el uso del casco constituye una medida fundamental para prevenir lesiones graves y salvar vidas.
