Mariana Ríos propone regresar espacios culturales y deportivos al Distrito 19

Córdoba, Ver. – Este lunes, la candidata Mariana Ríos, abanderada de Fuerza y Corazón por Veracruz, reafirmó su compromiso con el distrito 19 de proponer en el Congreso Local, regresar a Córdoba, Yanga y Amatlán espacios de cultura, deporte y recreación, tal es el caso de la emblemática Ex Hacienda Toxpan. 

Con el lema “Regresar a Córdoba lo que es de Córdoba” la candidata por el distrito 19, Mariana Ríos destacó la urgente necesidad de recuperar los espacios estatales regresando eventos culturales y de recreación para los ciudadanos, así como espacios deportivos, con el fin de promover un desarrollo integral y sostenible en la región, por ello la importancia de etiquetar recursos y programas para la juventud.

Durante su visita a la colonia Ampliación Miraflores, Mariana Ríos tuvo la oportunidad de interactuar directamente con los habitantes, escuchando de primera mano sus preocupaciones y necesidades.

La candidata que encabeza la coalición Fuerza y Corazón por Veracruz, se comprometió firmemente a ser una voz vigilante que garantice que los recursos públicos sean destinados a las áreas que más lo necesitan, así como a supervisar su correcta aplicación.

Finalmente, Mariana Ríos agradeció el cálido recibimiento de las familias de Miraflores y los invitó a sumarse al proyecto joven para el distrito 19, votando este próximo 2 de junio por un futuro prometedor y con oportunidades para todos.

Ayuntamiento de Córdoba y Universidad Veracruzana acuerdan puntos de trabajo

para el rescate del patrimonio histórico y cultural del municipio

Córdoba, Ver., 05 de junio del 2026.- Con el objetivo de establecer sólidas líneas de colaboración institucional, el H. Ayuntamiento de Córdoba realizó una importantísima visita a la Universidad Veracruzana, donde se trazó una ruta conjunta para impulsar proyectos estratégicos enfocados en el rescate, conservación, rehabilitación y promoción del patrimonio histórico, cultural y arqueológico del municipio.

Manuel Alonso Cerezo, presidente municipal, acompañado de Dennis Araceli Lira Tosqui, coordinadora de Bienestar Social; Juan Torio García, coordinador de Desarrollo Económico y Economía Social, y Luis Díaz Barriga, secretario particular de presidencia, este viernes en la Sala 2 de la USBI, visitaron al Dr. Martín Aguilar Sánchez, rector de la Universidad Veracruzana, así como al Dr. Arturo Aguilar, secretario Académico; Mtra. Lizbeth Margarita Viveros Cancino, secretaria de Administración y Finanzas; Dra. Yolanda González Molohua, secretaria de Desarrollo Institucional; Mtro. Heroy Muñoz Gómez, abogado general; Mtra. Beatriz Sánchez Zurita, directora general del Área Académica de Artes; Dr. Alfredo Delgado Calderón, director del Museo de Antropología de Xalapa; Arq. Miguel Ángel Cano Asseleih, director de Proyectos, Construcciones y Mantenimiento; Dr. Omar Melo Martínez, curador de la Sala de Culturas del Centro de Veracruz y director del Proyecto Arqueológico Toxpan; Dr. Saúl Horacio Moreno Andrade, asesor por la UV, mientras que por la Vicerrectoría Región Orizaba-Córdoba, estuvieron presentes el Dr. Mario Roberto Bernabé Guapillo Vargas, vicerrector; Dra. Patricia Espinosa García, secretaria Académica Regional; Mtro. Diego Chávez González, secretario de Administración y Finanzas Regional, y Lic. Ángel Bustamente Torres, coordinador Regional de Vinculación.

Uno de los temas centrales de la agenda fue el Proyecto de Rehabilitación de la Capilla. Se informó que, tras la entrega del inmueble por parte de la Asociación Civil que lo administraba hace aproximadamente dos años, la administración actual de la UV ya cuenta con la autorización presupuestal, y precisamente la Universidad será quien rehabilitará el histórico inmueble bajo la responsabilidad del Arq. Miguel Ángel Cano Asseleih, se encuentra próximo a iniciar su etapa de inversión de recursos.

Asimismo, se analizaron los Proyectos de Rescate y Desarrollo Cultural en la Zona Arqueológica de Toxpan. Para enriquecer estas propuestas y garantizar su viabilidad técnica e histórica, la mesa de trabajo contó con la valiosa participación del Dr. Alfredo Delgado Calderón, Director del Museo de Antropología de Xalapa (MAX), y del Dr. Omar Melo Martínez, Curador de la Sala de las Culturas del Centro de Veracruz.

Finalmente, ambas instituciones acordaron integrar una agenda anual de colaboración sostenida bajo una calendarización permanente. Esta sinergia entre el gobierno municipal y la máxima casa de estudios del estado marca el inicio de una ruta de trabajo que fortalecerá de manera definitiva la preservación del legado arqueológico y la identidad cultural regional.

Córdoba, Ver.- La fuerte lluvia registrada la tarde de este viernes provocó severos encharcamientos y complicaciones viales en distintos puntos de Córdoba, principalmente sobre el bulevar Tratados de Córdoba y la carretera Córdoba-Peñuela, donde cientos de automovilistas enfrentaron tránsito lento y dificultades para circular.

La intensa precipitación sorprendió a conductores y peatones, generando acumulación de agua en carriles de circulación y reduciendo considerablemente la visibilidad. En algunos tramos, los vehículos avanzaban a baja velocidad para evitar accidentes o quedar varados.

Uno de los puntos con mayores afectaciones fue el bulevar Tratados de Córdoba, donde el agua cubrió parte de la superficie de rodamiento, provocando largas filas de automóviles durante varias horas. Situación similar se registró en la carretera Córdoba-Peñuela, una de las vías más transitadas de la región, donde el tráfico se volvió lento debido a los escurrimientos pluviales.

A través de redes sociales, ciudadanos compartieron imágenes y videos de los encharcamientos, evidenciando las dificultades para transitar por estas importantes arterias de comunicación.

Aunque no se reportaron personas lesionadas ni vehículos arrastrados por la corriente, las autoridades recomendaron extremar precauciones al conducir, mantener distancia entre unidades y evitar maniobras bruscas sobre pavimento mojado.

El temporal lluvioso que afecta a la región central de Veracruz continuará durante los próximos días, por lo que Protección Civil exhortó a la población a mantenerse atenta a los avisos meteorológicos y reportar cualquier situación de riesgo a los números de emergencia.

Conmemoran el Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente con la formación de los “Eco-Guardianes de Córdoba”

Córdoba, Ver.,.- En el marco del Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, a través de la Jefatura de Protección Ambiental, realizó la jornada “Ahora por el Clima”, un evento orientado a fortalecer la educación ambiental y fomentar la participación de niñas y niños en acciones de protección y conservación del entorno.

La actividad tuvo como sede la Escuela Primaria Carlos A. Carrillo, donde la bióloga Tayde Elizabeth González López, jefa de Protección Ambiental, dio la bienvenida a las autoridades, docentes y estudiantes participantes, destacando la importancia de generar conciencia ambiental desde la niñez.

Durante el evento, el presidente municipal, Manuel Alonso Cerezo, dirigió un mensaje en el que refrendó el compromiso de la administración municipal con el cuidado del medio ambiente y la promoción de acciones que contribuyan a mitigar los efectos del cambio climático.

Asimismo, como parte de la jornada, se realizó la lectura del juramento para la toma de protesta de los integrantes de la Brigada Infantil “Eco-Guardianes de Córdoba”, encabezada por el alcalde, seguida de la entrega simbólica de chalecos y gafetes distintivos a las y los participantes.

Las escuelas primarias que se sumaron a la iniciativa fueron: Úrsulo Galván (turno matutino), Francisco I. Madero, Carlos A. Carrillo, Francisco Hernández y Hernández, Adalberto Casas Rodríguez, Emiliano Zapata Centro, Antorcha y el Centro Escolar México – Green School.

En el evento estuvieron presentes Glorisel Ixmatlahua Rodríguez, regidora tercera; Jaime Santiago Avendaño Hernández, suplente de la regiduría décima; y el director del plantel, Mario Luis Hernández Mendoza.

Posteriormente, se impartieron diversas capacitaciones enfocadas en el cuidado del entorno. La Ing. Rosario Baldo Hernández presentó el tema “Acciones de la Brigada Eco-Guardianes”; la M.H.T. Marali Ahaid García Castillo, catedrática de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas y Agropecuarias de la Universidad Veracruzana, abordó el manejo de residuos sólidos; mientras que el Ing. Luis Miguel Zamudio Serrano, jefe de Alumbrado Público, compartió información sobre el uso responsable de la energía. Finalmente, Yael Martínez González, de Hidrosistema, expuso el tema “Fuentes de abastecimiento”, asimismo se contó con la participación del Dr. Julio Díaz José, Dr. Ismael Quiroz Guerrero, Dr. Otoniel Alonso Rivera Cortes y la Ing. Elizabeth de Jesús Manzano, así como el reconocimiento por su participación de Hidrosistema y la Facultad de Biología.

De esta manera, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba reafirma su compromiso de impulsar la educación ambiental y la participación ciudadana, promoviendo una cultura de responsabilidad y respeto por los recursos naturales para construir un municipio más sustentable.
