Veracruz, tercer lugar nacional en trata de personas

El documento señala que el 62 por ciento de los reportes están relacionados con explotación sexual infantil y pornografía

Xalapa, Ver.- Veracruz se ubica entre los estados más afectados por la trata de personas, tanto como lugar de origen, tránsito y destino de víctimas, según el Quinto Reporte sobre la Trata de Personas 2024-2025, del Consejo Ciudadano para la Seguridad y Justicia de la Ciudad de México.

Entre 2024 y el primer semestre de 2025 se recibieron 4 mil 170 llamadas en la línea de apoyo a víctimas de este delito. De las 2 mil 572 personas mexicanas registradas, 180 eran de Veracruz, es decir, el 7 por ciento del total, lo que coloca al estado en tercer lugar a nivel nacional, solo detrás de Ciudad de México y Estado de México, y por encima de Jalisco y Chiapas.

Sin embargo, el Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública (SESNSP) reporta que en Veracruz solo se abrieron 10 carpetas de investigación en 2024 y cuatro más en 2025, evidenciando una brecha entre denuncias y acciones oficiales.

El 62% de los reportes está relacionado con explotación sexual infantil y pornografía, seguido por prostitución, trabajo forzado, explotación laboral y mendicidad forzada. La mayoría de las víctimas son mujeres (62%), con la explotación sexual concentrando el 90% de los casos, incluyendo prostitución, matrimonios forzados y otras formas de abuso.

El informe señala que, entre diciembre de 2018 y junio de 2025, se atendieron 16 mil 730 víctimas, con un incremento sostenido en los últimos tres años, situación que alerta sobre la creciente incidencia de este delito en la entidad y el país.

Xalapa, Ver.— Tras varios días de calor extremo y sensaciones térmicas superiores a los 40 grados en distintas regiones del estado, un nuevo frente frío comenzará a afectar a Veracruz durante las próximas horas, provocando lluvias, evento de Norte y un ligero descenso de temperatura, principalmente en zonas costeras y montañosas.

De acuerdo con reportes meteorológicos y avisos preventivos emitidos por autoridades de Protección Civil, el sistema frontal ingresará al Golfo de México entre viernes y sábado, favoreciendo el incremento de nubosidad, tormentas dispersas y rachas de viento que podrían alcanzar entre 40 y 60 kilómetros por hora en municipios costeros.

El pronóstico indica que las lluvias podrían presentarse principalmente en regiones montañosas y del sur del estado, aunque no se descartan tormentas acompañadas de actividad eléctrica y posibles encharcamientos en zonas urbanas.

Además, el cambio de viento al Norte podría generar oleaje elevado en el litoral veracruzano.

La llegada del frente frío también representa un alivio temporal tras la intensa onda de calor que ha afectado a Veracruz durante los últimos días.

Apenas esta semana, municipios costeros registraron sensaciones térmicas superiores a los 50 grados, mientras Protección Civil mantenía vigilancia por las altas temperaturas y eventos de surada.

Autoridades estatales recomendaron a la población mantenerse atenta a los avisos oficiales, evitar la exposición prolongada al sol, asegurar objetos que puedan ser derribados por el viento y extremar precauciones ante posibles lluvias fuertes y descargas eléctricas durante el fin de semana.

Veracruz, Ver.– La gobernadora de Veracruz, Rocío Nahle, advirtió que las personas que no realizaron el reemplacamiento de sus motocicletas en el periodo establecido deberán regularizar su situación, ya que podrían enfrentar sanciones administrativas.

En declaraciones recientes, la mandataria estatal señaló que este proceso forma parte de una estrategia para ordenar el padrón vehicular en la entidad y reforzar la seguridad, particularmente en el uso de motocicletas.

Indicó que quienes no cumplieron con el trámite podrían ser sujetos a multas o recargos, además de que las autoridades de tránsito estarán facultadas para aplicar sanciones durante operativos en diferentes municipios del estado.

La gobernadora enfatizó que el objetivo no es recaudatorio, sino garantizar mayor control e identificación de las unidades, debido a que en diversos hechos delictivos se ha detectado el uso de motocicletas sin registro actualizado.

Asimismo, hizo un llamado a la ciudadanía para que acuda a regularizar sus vehículos y evitar contratiempos, ya que circular sin placas vigentes podría derivar incluso en la retención de la unidad, dependiendo del caso.

El programa de reemplacamiento busca mantener un padrón confiable y actualizado, lo que también facilita trámites como cambios de propietario y contribuye a mejorar la seguridad pública en la entidad.

Finalmente, autoridades estatales reiteraron la recomendación de consultar canales oficiales para conocer los requisitos, costos y opciones disponibles para quienes aún no han realizado este trámite.

Prevén lluvias por arriba de lo normal en mayo y condiciones variables en junio en Veracruz

Xalapa, Ver..– El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) informó que mayo registrará lluvias ligeramente por arriba del promedio en Veracruz, mientras que junio presentará condiciones más variables, con tendencia a disminuir en algunos escenarios, aunque con ambiente ligeramente más caluroso.

De acuerdo con modelos climáticos, la primera quincena de mayo iniciará con ambiente cálido y precipitaciones dentro del promedio. Para el bimestre mayo-junio, el modelo RegCM5 prevé temperaturas normales o ligeramente más cálidas, con más lluvias en mayo y menos en junio; en tanto, el CFSv2 estima mayo con menos precipitaciones y junio con incremento, mientras que el ECMWF proyecta lluvias superiores al promedio en mayo e inferiores en junio.

El SMN añadió que estas condiciones coinciden con la temporada de caída de granizo y el cierre del periodo de frentes fríos, que concluirá el 15 de mayo. Para esta temporada se pronosticaron 48 sistemas, de los cuales 47 ya se han registrado, y 19 han afectado a Veracruz. En mayo aún se espera el ingreso de cuatro frentes fríos.
