Fomento Agropecuario impulsa la producción local

Omealca, Ver.– Con el objetivo de fortalecer la producción frutícola en el municipio, el área de Fomento Agropecuario del Ayuntamiento de Omealca inició la venta de arbolitos de limón persa al público en general, informó su directora, Alejandra Martínez Villaraus.

La funcionaria detalló que en esta primera etapa se cuenta con un total de 500 plantas disponibles, las cuales tienen un costo de 25 pesos por unidad.

 Las personas interesadas pueden adquirir uno o varios ejemplares, de acuerdo con sus necesidades productivas, acudiendo directamente al área de Fomento Fomento Agropecuario.

Explicó que los arbolitos corresponden a la variedad conocida como limón persa “canario” y tienen una edad aproximada de tres meses, lo que permite su trasplante inmediato.

Añadió que esta variedad fue seleccionada de manera específica por su buena adaptación a las condiciones de la región.

Martínez Villaraus señaló que el limón persa es uno de los cultivos más utilizados en Omealca, particularmente en las zonas bajas del municipio, como Matatenatito, Río Moreno y comunidades cercanas, donde predominan los suelos arcillosos.

Indicó que este tipo de suelo favorece el desarrollo del árbol y permite obtener buenos rendimientos cuando se le brinda el manejo adecuado.

Precisó que la elección de esta variedad se realizó tras recibir solicitudes constantes de productores de la zona baja, quienes buscaban opciones viables de árboles frutales.

A partir de ello, el área a su cargo realizó la búsqueda de una planta que ofreciera mejores resultados productivos en el municipio.

En cuanto al tiempo de producción, la directora de Fomento Agropecuario explicó que el inicio de la cosecha depende del cuidado que se le otorgue a la planta; sin embargo, bajo condiciones adecuadas, el árbol puede comenzar a dar fruto entre el año y medio y los dos años posteriores a su siembra.

Asimismo, adelantó que este programa podría ampliarse en el futuro con la incorporación de otros árboles frutales como mango, naranja y lichi, dependiendo de la demanda y de la viabilidad para la región.

Finalmente, hizo un llamado a la ciudadanía y a los pequeños productores a aprovechar esta iniciativa, al tratarse de un cultivo con alta demanda y potencial productivo en Omealca.

Atoyac, Ver.— La zafra 2025-2026 en el ingenio Central El Potrero sigue caminando a buen ritmo y ya alcanzó el 61.8 por ciento de avance al cumplirse el día 100 de actividades.

Hasta ahora se han molido 771 mil 812 toneladas de caña, mientras que el Karbe Neto acumulado se ubica en 110.003, reflejando un desempeño estable tanto en campo como en fábrica.

En este proceso, el dirigente local de la CNPR, Ángel Gómez Tapia, ha mantenido la coordinación con productores para que no se frene el abasto de caña y se sostenga el ritmo de molienda.

“Las condiciones actuales permiten ver un panorama favorable para lo que resta de la zafra, siempre y cuando se mantenga el mismo paso de trabajo”, dijo.

Productores y sector industrial continúan operando sin contratiempos, con la mira puesta en cerrar la temporada de manera positiva.

Omealca, Ver..– Con la participación activa del alcalde Dionisio Herrera Torres, este martes se llevó a cabo la peregrinación del Ayuntamiento en vísperas de la fiesta patronal en honor a San José, una de las celebraciones más significativas para el municipio.

Desde el inicio del recorrido, el edil destacó al encabezar el contingente integrado por personal del Ayuntamiento y miembros del Cabildo, quienes partieron de la Casa de Cultura para recorrer las principales calles de Omealca, en un ambiente de unidad y tradición.

Acompañando al alcalde Dionisio Herrera Torres estuvieron la síndica, Maricela Colorado Romero; la regidora primera, Julia Morales Rodríguez; y la regidora segunda, Jannia Medina Cervantes, además de trabajadores municipales que se sumaron a esta manifestación de fe.

La peregrinación concluyó en la parroquia de San José, donde se celebró una misa solemne con la presencia del presidente municipal, quien participó junto a los asistentes en este acto religioso que marca el arranque de las festividades patronales.

Con su presencia y liderazgo, el alcalde Dionisio Herrera Torres reafirmó su cercanía con las tradiciones del pueblo y su compromiso de impulsar la identidad cultural de Omealca, acompañando a la ciudadanía en eventos que fortalecen el tejido social.

Cuichapa, Ver.- El alcalde de Cuichapa, Fernando Hernández Martínez, participó en una reunión regional de trabajo donde se presentaron diversos programas de apoyo destinados a fortalecer la producción agropecuaria y respaldar a productores del campo.

El encuentro fue encabezado por el titular de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agropecuario, Rural y Pesca de Veracruz (SEDARPA), Rodrigo Calderón Salas, quien expuso ante autoridades municipales las estrategias que impulsa el Gobierno del Estado para fortalecer las actividades agrícolas y pecuarias en las distintas regiones de Veracruz.

Durante la reunión se dieron a conocer programas orientados a mejorar la productividad del campo, brindar acompañamiento técnico a los productores y facilitar el acceso a apoyos para proyectos agropecuarios.

El alcalde Fernando Hernández Martínez destacó la importancia de este tipo de encuentros, ya que permiten a los municipios conocer de primera mano los programas que pueden beneficiar directamente a los productores locales.

Señaló que su administración continuará gestionando apoyos y proyectos que permitan fortalecer la actividad agropecuaria en Cuichapa, donde una parte importante de la población depende de las labores del campo.

Indicó que el objetivo es que los productores del municipio puedan acceder a programas que impulsen la producción, mejoren las condiciones de trabajo y contribuyan al desarrollo económico de las comunidades rurales.

Asimismo, resaltó que el trabajo coordinado entre los ayuntamientos y el Gobierno del Estado es fundamental para que los apoyos lleguen de manera efectiva a quienes trabajan la tierra.

Durante el encuentro, las autoridades estatales reiteraron la importancia de mantener comunicación permanente con los municipios para ampliar la cobertura de los programas dirigidos al sector agropecuario.

Finalmente, el alcalde de Cuichapa reiteró su compromiso de continuar gestionando recursos y apoyos que permitan fortalecer al campo, con el objetivo de mejorar las condiciones de los productores y seguir impulsando el desarrollo rural en el municipio.
