Fallece médico tras derrumbe

Los Reyes, Ver.- Un derrumbe en la carretera federal 123 Orizaba–Zongolica cobró la vida del médico Carlos David Salazar Hernández, de 49 años, adscrito al Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) en Zongolica y vecino de Ciudad Mendoza, luego de que su vehículo quedara sepultado por una masa de tierra y piedras a la altura de la comunidad Cruz Verde, en el municipio de Los Reyes.

Según reportes preliminares, el deslave ocurrió durante la mañana, cuando la fuerte lluvia que azota la región provocó que un talud se desprendiera de la ladera del cerro, cayendo directamente sobre la unidad que conducía el galeno. Testigos indicaron que Salazar Hernández trató de avanzar a pesar de la visibilidad reducida y el mal tiempo, pero fue sorprendido por el colapso del terreno.

Habitantes de la zona alertaron a las autoridades a través de redes sociales, lo que permitió desplegar de inmediato equipos de emergencia. Elementos de rescate de Tequila, Los Reyes y Zongolica trabajaron varias horas entre lodo y rocas para liberar el vehículo, confirmando el fallecimiento del conductor en el lugar.

Hasta el momento, el IMSS no ha emitido un comunicado oficial, aunque fuentes locales confirmaron la identidad de la víctima. Las autoridades estatales y municipales hicieron un llamado a la población para evitar transitar por la vía Orizaba–Zongolica, especialmente en los tramos más propensos a deslaves y cierres parciales derivados de las intensas lluvias de los últimos días.

La carretera federal 123 se mantiene bajo monitoreo constante, ya que los cerros continúan inestables y existe riesgo de nuevos derrumbes. Equipos de Protección Civil realizan recorridos preventivos y mantienen alerta permanente en comunidades cercanas, buscando minimizar riesgos para conductores y habitantes.

El accidente resalta la vulnerabilidad de la región montañosa central de Veracruz ante eventos meteorológicos extremos, donde la combinación de lluvias intensas y pendientes pronunciadas puede derivar en derrumbes repentinos que ponen en peligro la vida de quienes transitan por estas carreteras.

Autoridades reiteraron la importancia de extremar precauciones, atender las recomendaciones oficiales y evitar circular por zonas de riesgo hasta que las condiciones se estabilicen.

Coatzacoalcos, Ver..– Un violento ataque armado registrado la tarde de este martes al interior de un inmueble habilitado como oficinas, en la colonia María de la Piedad, dejó como saldo cuatro personas muertas, tres hombres y una mujer, y dos mujeres lesionadas.

Los hechos ocurrieron alrededor de la 1:20 de la tarde sobre la calle Lázaro Cárdenas, cuando hombres armados ingresaron al lugar y abrieron fuego contra quienes se encontraban en el interior, para posteriormente darse a la fuga.

Dentro del edificio quedaron los cuerpos sin vida de tres masculinos y una femenina, mientras que dos mujeres más resultaron heridas por impactos de bala. Una de ellas presentó lesiones de gravedad.

De acuerdo con versiones preliminares, un trabajador solicitó apoyo a los servicios de emergencia luego de que una mujer saliera herida del inmueble y alertara que había más víctimas en el interior. Vecinos y empleados de la zona reportaron haber escuchado varias detonaciones, lo que generó alarma en el sector.

Elementos de seguridad estatal, municipal y fuerzas federales acudieron al sitio, acordonaron el área e implementaron un operativo de búsqueda en los alrededores. Paramédicos brindaron atención prehospitalaria y trasladaron a las lesionadas a un nosocomio.

Peritos y agentes ministeriales realizaron el levantamiento de los cuerpos y comenzaron las investigaciones correspondientes para esclarecer el móvil del ataque y dar con los responsables.

El hecho se suma a los episodios de violencia registrados en la zona sur de Veracruz, donde continúan ocurriendo ataques de alto impacto en áreas urbanas.

Incendio consume restaurante en Cuitláhuac

Cuitláhuac, Ver.— La madrugada de este martes un incendio consumió en su totalidad el restaurante “El Aeropuerto”, ubicado sobre la avenida 6, entre calles 9 y 11, a la salida del municipio.

De acuerdo con los primeros reportes, las llamas se propagaron con rapidez debido a la estructura del inmueble, construido principalmente con materiales ligeros, lo que derivó en la pérdida total del establecimiento.

Hasta el momento, las autoridades informaron que se desconocen las causas que originaron el siniestro.

Al sitio acudieron elementos de Protección Civil municipal, Policía Municipal y personal de la Secretaría de Marina, quienes implementaron un operativo para acordonar la zona y evitar riesgos a terceros.

En las labores para sofocar el fuego participaron Bomberos Regionales de Cuitláhuac con una unidad de respuesta rápida y carro bomba, apoyados por 10 elementos.

También se sumaron dos unidades cisterna procedentes de Yanga, así como pipas particulares.

Tras varios minutos de trabajo coordinado, el incendio fue controlado sin que se reportaran personas lesionadas.

Las autoridades competentes iniciaron las investigaciones correspondientes para determinar el origen del fuego y deslindar responsabilidades.

Militar mata a su compañero de forma accidental en Carrillo Puerto

Carrillo Puerto, Ver.– Un elemento de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena) mató de manera accidental a uno de sus compañeros al accionar su arma de cargo, cuando ambos se encontraban en funciones sobre la carretera federal Córdoba–Veracruz.

Los hechos ocurrieron a la altura del kilómetro 32, en las inmediaciones de la comunidad Cerro Alto. De acuerdo con los primeros reportes, el disparo se habría producido de forma accidental mientras los efectivos realizaban labores operativas en la zona.

Tras el incidente, al sitio arribaron corporaciones policiacas y paramédicos; sin embargo, el militar ya no contaba con signos vitales. La zona fue acordonada conforme al protocolo, mientras peritos y agentes ministeriales de la Fiscalía General del Estado de Veracruz realizaron las diligencias correspondientes y el levantamiento del cuerpo.

La dependencia estatal abrió una carpeta de investigación para esclarecer las circunstancias en que ocurrió el disparo y determinar responsabilidades.

El caso se registra en un contexto de alta violencia contra fuerzas de seguridad en la entidad. Según datos de la organización Causa en Común, Veracruz ha figurado en distintos periodos entre los estados con mayor número de policías asesinados en el país, lo que evidencia los riesgos constantes que enfrentan los elementos en servicio.

Hasta el momento, la Sedena no ha emitido un posicionamiento oficial sobre el hecho.
