Chocamán, Ver. – La escasez de agua en Chocamán, que se ha agudizado desde febrero, ha obligado al gobierno municipal a reforzar la distribución mediante pipas.
Sin embargo, la baja recaudación por el servicio representa un obstáculo para mejorar la infraestructura y garantizar el abastecimiento, advirtió el alcalde Ernesto Ruiz González.
El municipio cuenta con seis mil tomas registradas, pero solo mil 800 usuarios han realizado su pago este año, lo que ha generado un ingreso de 600 mil pesos. Ante esta situación, el edil llamó a la ciudadanía a cumplir con su contribución, ya que estos recursos son fundamentales para mantener operativas las pipas y mejorar las redes de distribución.
Actualmente, cinco camiones cisterna llevan agua a colonias como El Xúchil, La Cardenista, Analco, Antorchista, Calaquico, 3 de Mayo, La Cuchilla y La Ermita, beneficiando a cerca de ocho mil habitantes.
Sin embargo, el costo de operar este sistema es elevado. El agua se obtiene de un pozo particular en Fortín, donde cada carga cuesta 350 pesos más IVA, sin contar los gastos de diésel y la renta de los vehículos.
Durante 2023, el municipio destinó 700 mil pesos en este servicio, cifra que podría aumentar este año debido a la sequía.
El gobierno municipal ha trabajado en la modernización de las redes hidráulicas, muchas de las cuales tienen décadas de antigüedad.
No obstante, la inversión es limitada y las mejoras se han realizado de forma gradual junto con obras de rehabilitación vial.
También se han detectado tomas irregulares en zonas agrícolas de Xonozintla, lo que afecta el abasto para más de 12 mil habitantes de la cabecera municipal.
Por ello, el ayuntamiento ha iniciado procesos legales para clausurarlas y regularizar el uso del recurso.
Mientras algunas colonias reciben el servicio cada cuatro días, otras deben esperar hasta una semana.
El alcalde reiteró que el pago del servicio es crucial para mejorar la infraestructura y anunció que en los próximos días se dará a conocer un proyecto para atender la crisis hídrica en Chocamán.

Cuichapa, Ver.- La fuerte tormenta que se registró durante la tarde-noche del sábado obligó a movilizar a elementos de Protección Civil Municipal en distintos puntos de Cuichapa, donde se atendieron reportes de la población y se realizaron recorridos para detectar posibles afectaciones.
Ante las condiciones climatológicas, el personal de emergencia activó un operativo de atención y vigilancia en las zonas donde se recibieron llamados de auxilio, con el objetivo de responder de manera inmediata ante cualquier situación que pudiera representar un riesgo para las familias.
Por instrucciones del alcalde Fernando Hernández Martínez, los elementos de Protección Civil mantuvieron recorridos durante y después de la tormenta para verificar las condiciones en caminos, viviendas y otros puntos susceptibles a registrar alguna afectación.
La presencia de lluvia intensa y rachas de viento generó preocupación entre habitantes del municipio, por lo que las autoridades mantuvieron comunicación con la población para recibir y canalizar los reportes.
Protección Civil recomendó a los habitantes extremar precauciones durante el desarrollo de tormentas, principalmente en sitios cercanos a corrientes de agua, zonas bajas y áreas donde pudieran presentarse desprendimientos de árboles o estructuras.
También pidió a la población mantenerse pendiente de los avisos meteorológicos y evitar desplazamientos innecesarios mientras persistan condiciones adversas.
Aunque hasta el momento no se ha informado de manera oficial sobre personas lesionadas, las autoridades mantienen el monitoreo de las condiciones y la atención de los reportes que puedan surgir como consecuencia de las lluvias.
El operativo permanecerá activo mientras exista riesgo de nuevas precipitaciones y tormentas en la región, particularmente ante el pronóstico de que las condiciones de inestabilidad continúen durante las próximas horas.

Hallan muerto a Diego, joven reportado como desaparecido en Tequila
Estaba en unos matorrales
Tequila, Ver.- El joven Diego Xocua Tzitzihua, de 25 años, quien había sido reportado como desaparecido desde el pasado 30 de agosto, fue localizado sin vida en una zona de monte de la comunidad de Santa Cruz, en el municipio de Tequila, Veracruz.
El hallazgo se registró durante las labores de búsqueda emprendidas por habitantes de la comunidad, quienes recorrieron distintos puntos de la zona ante la falta de noticias sobre el paradero del joven.
Diego había salido de su domicilio alrededor de las 15:00 horas del domingo 30 de agosto y, según la información difundida por sus familiares, tenía como destino habitual la ciudad de Orizaba, a donde se trasladaba por actividades relacionadas con su comercio.
Al no regresar y perder comunicación con sus familiares, comenzó la búsqueda y se solicitó la colaboración de la ciudadanía para aportar información que permitiera ubicarlo.
Durante los días posteriores, familiares y vecinos mantuvieron las labores de localización, mientras que sus datos personales y características físicas fueron difundidos a través de redes sociales para ampliar el alcance de la búsqueda.
La localización del cuerpo provocó consternación entre los habitantes de Santa Cruz, particularmente entre quienes habían participado en las acciones para encontrarlo.
Tras el reporte del hallazgo, autoridades se trasladaron hasta el punto señalado y llevaron a cabo las diligencias correspondientes. La zona fue revisada como parte de las primeras actuaciones ministeriales para establecer las circunstancias del fallecimiento.
El cuerpo fue levantado y trasladado para los estudios forenses que permitan determinar oficialmente la causa de muerte y completar los procedimientos legales correspondientes antes de ser entregado a sus familiares.
Hasta ahora, las autoridades no han informado públicamente sobre las circunstancias en las que fue encontrado ni sobre una posible línea relacionada con su fallecimiento, por lo que serán las investigaciones ministeriales las que determinen qué ocurrió.
El caso ha generado pesar entre familiares, amigos y vecinos de esta comunidad de la región de las Altas Montañas, quienes expresaron sus condolencias a los seres queridos del joven.
La Fiscalía continuará con las investigaciones para esclarecer el caso y determinar si existe alguna responsabilidad derivada de los hechos.
Atoyac, Ver.- Una fuerte tormenta acompañada de granizo, intensas ráfagas de viento y lluvia provocó daños materiales y dejó sin energía eléctrica a cientos de habitantes de Potrero Nuevo, municipio de Atoyac, durante la tarde de este viernes.
Uno de los puntos más afectados fue el domicilio de la señora Mari Carmen, conocida entre los vecinos como “La Güerita”, cuya vivienda sufrió daños considerables luego de que el fuerte viento desprendiera prácticamente todo el techo.
La estructura metálica, incluidos los montenes, salió proyectada por la fuerza de las ráfagas y terminó a varios metros de distancia, incluso al otro lado de la avenida principal, en las inmediaciones del Mercado Revolución.
El fenómeno meteorológico también provocó daños en la infraestructura eléctrica de la zona, ya que un transformador que abastece de energía al centro de Potrero Nuevo resultó afectado, ocasionando la interrupción del servicio para cientos de familias.
La intensidad de la tormenta tomó por sorpresa a los habitantes, quienes observaron cómo en cuestión de minutos el viento provocó daños en viviendas y estructuras, mientras el granizo cubría distintos puntos de la localidad.
Ante la emergencia, autoridades municipales acudieron al lugar para atender la situación y coordinar las acciones necesarias para reducir los riesgos y apoyar a las familias afectadas.
Entre los casos que más preocupación generaron se encuentra el de “La Güerita”, cuya vivienda quedó seriamente dañada tras el desprendimiento del techo.
Vecinos hicieron un llamado a la solidaridad de la población para apoyar a la mujer, quien deberá enfrentar ahora la reparación de su vivienda y la reposición de los materiales que fueron destruidos por la tormenta.
Las autoridades mantienen la atención en la zona para evaluar los daños ocasionados por este fenómeno meteorológico.
